Should I tap on his shoulder or something?

The bell was going to ring in about 5 minutes and Kayson and I have yet to talk about the project.

He had headphones in and was scrolling away on his phone. Me and him have the same headphones but I don't know if he'll kill me or not for bothering him.

I also didn't want to fail this project. I wonder if I ask Mrs. Adam to let me do the project alone she'll let me?

No, because then Kayson wouldn't have a partner and she'll feel bad. But then again it doesn't seem like he'd mind not one bit.

"Kayson?" I said, he doesn't respond. Either he's ignoring me or he couldn't hear me because of the headphones.

I didn't want to touch him because he seemed to get easily annoyed from that. I noticed when the hall monitor touched him. Obviously he'd let Kammy touch him because she's his sister, but anybody else it seemed like he's blow up the second they even think about it.

I waited until he took his headphones off, which never happened.

The bell rang and he grabbed his stuff and quickly left the classroom. He obviously didn't have the noise cancellation on, if he did he wouldn't have heard the bell. I know because when I had mine on and the bell rang I didn't hear anything until a classmate tapped my shoulder and told me.

So he was ignoring me, great.

I absolutely refuse to fail my easiest class. Who the hell fails English?

I jogged after him and saw that he was exiting the school. I jogged until I was in front of him and stopped, facing him.

Well, the ground because he bumped right into me, it was like hitting a brick. I braced for impact when a pair of strong arms wrapped around waist, breaking my fall.

I look up to see Kayson looking at me like I was a crazy person. I wasn't the crazy person though, he was.

I cleared my throat and he let go of my waist.

"Can we talk about the project?" I asked, he just stared at me, not saying anything.

Okay?

He walked around me to the entrance of the school. I watched as he opened the door and looked at me. We stared at each for a second before I hesitantly made my way out the door.

So, are we going to talk?

He continued walking and I walked behind him. He stopped in front of the tree he and his friends hung out at, but they weren't here. He turned and leaned against the tree, staring at me. I awkwardly stood there staring back.
