"I-I can't believe..." Nicole stuttered, trying to catch her breath as the elevator went up.

"So that's what he's been hiding," I breathed, Nicole looked up at me with tears in her eyes.

"They...They were so bloody..." I placed my hands on Nicole's shoulders as her breathing began to pick up.

Nicole doesn't do good with blood, at all.

When she was 6 years old her Mom was in an Abusive relationship with a man. One night she woke up to them fighting, and of course in her little 6 year old mind she wanted to go see what was going on.

When she peeked over the bottom step towards the living room she saw him standing over her Mom's bloodied body as she laid on the floor.

She ran upstairs and found her Mom's phone to call the police. After that, she never saw the man again. But it still scarred her and she used to have nightmares about it often, but not anymore.

But she doesn't like the sight of blood at all, especially it on somebody else, even if it's fake.

The sight of blood and bruises would either make her throw up, cry, or pass out.

Or like right now, have a panic attack.

"Hey hey, you're okay, they're okay," I hugged her tightly while rubbing her back.

"W-Would he, would he-" I cupped her cheeks and wiped the tears that fell from her big brown eyes.

"No, he'd never hurt you, Nicole," I stated, her breathing was still ragged.

"Deep breaths, breath with me," I inhaled and she followed. I exhaled and so did she.

"Good," I hugged her again and this time she hugged me back.

The elevator doors opened.

"Come on, let's get out of here," I grabbed her hand and led her out the elevator. We exited the door the scary dude was at.

Click.

I felt cold metal against the back of my head and I realized my hood was down. I stomach dropped and I felt the color drain from my face.

I looked at Nicole and she had the same look on her face.

"Caught ya." The man said deeply, I swallowed but stayed completely still.
