"Now what the fuck possessed you to do that?" Johnathan hissed

"Now what the fuck possessed you to do that?" Johnathan hissed. I shrugged.

"Your mom." I giggled at my own joked, he groaned.

"You don't have anything to be afraid of, just don't be a prick," I shrugged, pulling out my phone to text Kammy the address of the diner.

"She's right, you know?" By now we were all walking to the exit. Johnathan groaned.

"Besides, wouldn't it be best to get on Kayson's good side, so then you'll have a better chance of getting with his sister," I told him, he shook his head.

"What if he doesn't like me because I'm a year older than her," He grumbled, I rolled my eyes.

"We're all a grade older than her," I pointed out, he huffed.

"But it's different with you two, I'm a guy. What if he doesn't like my hair? Or the way I smell?"

"Why in the hell would he smell you?" Nicole scrunched her face, Johnathan pointed finger guns at her.

"Exactly, so now I'm terrified," We both stare blankly at him.

"What...?" I drag out, he huffed once again and crossed his arms.

I got a text back from Kammy asking if we could push the time because they had a few stops to make.

"You guys free at 6:30?" I asked Johnathan and Nicole.

"Yeah," They both responded.

"Alright, we're moving the diner time to 6:30," I said, typing on my phone.

"Whew, I could use a nap," Johnathan sighed dramatically.

Me too.

I told Roger all about my day and performance on the way home. When we got there I told him that we needed to leave at 6:15 to go to the diner.

When I walked in the house it was quiet, meaning no parents.

I had good parents. They gave me anything I ask and sometimes acknowledge me.

Sometimes.

I mean they do care about me, it's just they're too busy. They're rarely home, usually out on business trips or meetings and stuff like that.

But sometimes they'd throw parties, those are the best because it's only with family and close friends, we all spend time together and catch up on things.
