When my lips touched his butterflies immediately erupted in my stomach.

My hands quickly became tangled in his soft hair, essentially ruining the neatness it once was a few seconds ago.

It's like I couldn't get enough, like he couldn't get enough. His hand squeezed my waist while his other hand tilted my head to gain more access to my lips.

His tongue poked against my lips, asking for permission and as soon as my lips parted his tongue danced with mine.

We couldn't get enough of each other, like we were addicted.

A few moments have passed when we pulled apart. His thumb caressed my cheek as his forehead landed on mine.

"Kay-"

"Let me have this moment, please." He whispers, our eyes met.

I sigh before sinking in his arms and fluttering my eyes shut.

Just for this moment.

"You guys literally took forever, we died of starvation and came back and died again," Isabella exclaims dramatically, making everyone laugh.

"At least he's here and dressed up, now let's eat!" River beamed, clapping her hands together.

River places a hand on my shoulder and smiles at me. "Thank you." She says, and I nod.

Kayson and I split off to our individual groups. When I grabbed a plate and stood in line I notice them staring at me with a look.

"Shut up idiots, nothing happened," I rolled my eyes, Nicole crossed her arms and raised a brow at me.

"Nobody said anything, but since you admitted it-" I cut her off.

"I didn't admit to anything. And I can tell by the way you four were making googly eyes at me," I wiggled my finger at every single one of them.

Isabella raised her hands in defense.

"I didn't say or do nothing," She defended, I stared at her before looking at the other three.

"You three," I wiggled my finger at them, they giggled.

After getting our food, we went downstairs into the basement where most of the teens were lounging, talking, and eating.

"We should carpool with Johnathan and go to your house soon," Nicole says, taking a bite out of her ham.

"Okay, we need to be there by 8pm," I explained, they nodded.

"I'll ask my parents if I can go," Kammy says before walking into the living room where River and some of the adults were eating.

"I can't way to eat some of your Abuelita's food," Johnathan basically drooled, making scrunch my nose.
