My fucking head is killing me.
I groan as I slowly sit up, while rubbing my head.
I don't remember shit from last night or how I even got home.
"You're awake." I jolt up at the sound of a deep voice from across my room.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned Kayson, who was sitting on my desk chair.
"You asked me to be here when you woke up," He stated, looking at me. I frowned in confusion.
"I did? I don't remember shit," I replied, running my hands down my face to later realize that I still had a face full of makeup on.
"Do you remember anything?" He asked, I thought for a second.
I shook my head.
"Nope, nothing at all," I said, slowly laying back down and pulling the blankets over me as my head started to pound.
"Can you close the blinds? It's too bright in this bitch," I grumbled. I heard a low chuckled and lifted my head to see a small smile set on Kayson's lips.
For the first time the king of all grumps is smiling.
And to make it even better...
He had deep dimples on his cheeks, making his smile more alluring.
"You should smile more," I blurt out. His smile was almost immediately gone as he looked at me.
"Oh." He stated, before closing the blinds.
"Why don't you smile often? It's pretty." I told him, he continued to stare at me with wide eyes as his cheeks turned into a pink shade.
"You're blushing," I pointed out, he glared at me before turning around. I giggled.
"We need to talk," He said, after a moment has passed.
"About?" I asked slowly. He makes his way towards me while bringing the rollie chair with him.
He stops in front of me and sits on the chair, leaning back and folding his arms.
"Okay wait, pause." I said, he nodded.
"What the hell happened last night?" I questioned. I don't know how I got home and why I would ask Kayson to be here when I woke up.
"You were drunk so I took you and the kid across the street home," He explained briefly, I gave him a confused look.
"Parker? You took Parker home?" I asked, he clicked his tongue.
"Would've left his ass there if you didn't start tearing up when I refused," He grumbled, I flush in embarrassment.
"I cried?" I questioned further. I knew I was the emotional kind of drunk, but damn.
"Yes, and then you made me stop at Vons to get apples," He added.
