I walk into Starbucks with my math notes in my bag.

I check the time to see that Roger managed to get me here 5 minutes early. Liam wasn't here yet, so I decided to order something while I wait.

The school day went by smoothly today, and me and Liam briefly planned a time where we were both free so I could tutor him. We planned to meet at the Starbucks near the school right after 5th period ended.

I didn't need to take Parker to school or home anymore, He made that very clear this morning while I was waiting for him. I also came to the conclusion that I wouldn't try to befriend him anymore if he wants absolutely nothing to do with me.

I also haven't seen Kayson this past couple of days. Kammy stated that he caught a fever during the night, and wasn't feeling well.

After ordering a sweet tea, I sit down and get my notes ready. When I hear the door chime I look over to see Liam walking in. When he spots me he smiles widely and I offer a small wave.

"I ordered a drink, you can too if you want while I set everything up," I said, while opening my laptop, he chuckled lightly.

"What? Not a hello, how are you?" He asked with a cheeky grin, I look at him.

"No," I stated, he chuckled awkwardly again.

"Alright, I'm going to order something, I'll be back," He says, before walking to stand in line. That was also when my name got called for my drink.

I sit and scroll through my phone while waiting for Liam to come back. When he did I didn't give him any time to start small talk as I immediately began asking him questions about what he was confused about.

He was catching on pretty quickly, if I'm being totally honest. There were some steps to the problems that he missed or had trouble remembering.

"Do this problem and we're done for today and we can meet again at the same time tomorrow," I told him, he nodded and began doing the math problem.

We've been here for almost two hours.

"Did I do this right?" He asked, pushing the notebook towards me. I took a sip from my drink as I reviewed his answers.

"Not quite," I said, before explaining the correct steps and where he went wrong.

"Thank you, this'll definitely saved my ass," He sighed, I smiled.

"You're welcome," I reply nicely, while putting my things away.

"Can I ask you some-" He was cut off by the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hold on," I said, holding up a finger before answering the call.

"Hi Kam, what's up?" I said happily.

"Hey Bella! Are you busy right now?" She asked, I glanced at Liam as he was putting his notes away.

"Nope, why? Do you need something?" I asked, I hear her sigh of relief on the other end of the phone.
