Chapter 38: Split Battle

"Thanks for your patronage, we will deliver them at the place that you've given. Hope to see you again" The slave merchant give me a unpleasant smile after I pay and sign the contract.

"Hope we don't." I said as we go out from what we came from, the labyrinth like alleyway.

"By the way, are you sure that you will take her with you? We can deliver her to you along with the merchandize that you bought?." The slave merchant ask me, the reason is I bring  Primrose with me still a collar attach to her neck.

"Yeah, is there a problem?" I ask the slave merchant.

"Not really, but if someone saw you with that kind of scene some guards or knight might question you and if they will know that the woman is an elf, they might use it against you worst you get imprisoned." The slave merchant warns me.

"Thanks for your concern but I be fine." I said and wave him goodbye.

"Are you really sure that we will be in this situation? I mean I will follow you even if you let me remove this shameless thing." Primrose said.

"Ho ho... Going against me already, how cheeky can you get, remember that I own you now." I pull her close to me. "Your life is in my hands." I whisper to her.

"Uuh, I'm so-sorry!" This woman, I just did a little tease and she already heating, I wonder what kind of thing that her late owner did to her for her to become like this or maybe she already have it when she still a princess.

We are now strolling this maze like alleyway while I made Primrose wear a hoodie to cover her ears, I know that even I cover her people will still question us 'why a kid is walking in this busy street holding a rope attach to a person.' but I already have an alibi if a question comes.

We are now in the center of this maze and it's an alley that only 2 people walking side by side can fit in this narrow way when suddenly Salvia stops.

"What's the matter?" I ask her.

"We are getting followed" she said so I look at every directions but I never see anyone beside us.

"They are upward, maybe at the roof." She said. "Worry not I will protect you Milady." Still as reliable.

"Worst come to worst, I make this woman as my shield." I said and pull the rope attach to Primrose toward me.

"Ouch, come on Mistress even as a joke, it's not funny." She said retorting at my words.

"Feeling close to me already." I give her a cold look.

"Here they come." Salvia cut our conversation as she warn us to prepare ourself.

Two hooded individuals come down from the roof, they are huge same height as Salvia, and I assume that they are men as they have big body, then I hear someone fall in the back and I look same hooded person but this time they are smaller same height as Primrose.

"I saw you on the Slave trader, and I saw you giving that large amount of money to Raul, looks like you are a wealthy person, mind if you give us your money?" With a high pitch voice, I can tell that this hooded person is a female.

"Are you going to let us go if we give you money?" I ask, then pull Primrose closer to me.

"Mistress this is not the time to do this." She retort so I slap her and whisper.

"Can you fight? Salvia can kill them all but in this narrow location it will be tough for her to protect me." I ask in a small voice and she nodded so I detach the rope in her collar.

"I don't know what you are whispering there but of course we won't we will make you a slave and sell you all." She said.

"Well, I already know, Salvia." I clap and Salvia dash towards the two burly men in her direction and out of no where I push Primrose towards the female thief.
