THE REINCARNATED UNDEAD QUEEN

Chapter 9: Uncontrolable anger

We follow the undead man towards the village together with my army of undead animals but as we got near the entrance a spectacle has been presented at me, a show of one sided slaughter as he attack his comrade without hesitation, flesh and blood flying in the air, the smell of Iron whapping through the the air and cries of death can be heard inside the village, as the battle subside so do the undead as he only attack the bandits fulfilling my command but I see some of the bandits who uses range weapon manage to run away throughout the forest so I command my wolf to chase after the bandits that manage to jump over the fences of this village, you can hear the sound of dying men around this thick trees maybe being mauled by my wolf, other than that the undead didn't touch the adult women or children and he just stand in the middle of the village exuding some black smoke.

My eyes went wide when I notice someone has been tied up in the pole within the center of the town, I walk towards her.

I didn't feel anger neither sadness, a little guilt maybe, but what I truly feel is grateful.

The woman who been tied to this pole, the woman who sacrifice herself so I can run away, the kind woman who only cares with other more than herself.

"Thank you, Mila." I commanded the bear to cut the rope tying her in the pole and I make it lower her dead body and as I extend my arms towards her conjuring the revival spell from my hands.

A few moments I can see her eyes shut open and a shock on her face, unlike the undead man who become berserk when he sees me, Mila only look at me with a confusion on her face.

"Welcome back Mila" I said to her with a smile. "You died" I said but as expected she is undead she cannot fathom to speak but I can see in her face the sadness that she feel. "But no worries, I revive you" I give the best smile as I can make and she only look at me without emotion with her cloudy white eyes.

"Kyrie, is that you? What happen? What is going on? Why Ludgig is attacking this village? And why is Mila alive?" A woman suddenly gone out on the hut and started to barrage me with questions.

"Because this village is disgusting." Without looking at the woman I answer her. "You are free, you can go whenever or wherever you want just don't be a nuisance to me." I said with a cold tone on my voice.

"Huh? But where can we go? This forest is full of monsters we can't venture outside of this camp without someone strong will guide as." She said like she wanted to suggest something.

"It's not my problem." I said with a harsh tone.

"Come on Kyrie, we are the one who feed you since you are a child can you at least help us?" Another woman join at conversation, Mila who is standing now is fidgeting as if she wanted to tell something but she can't speak.

"But you let Mila die." I said to them now facing them.

"Come on, we can't help it, that's punishment for going against the leader here." Answer by the first woman and the adult women that are outside now agreed to her in unison.

"I intended to attack this village without living anyone alive except for Mila so that I can secure my safety if ever you tried to go against me, but with a little sympathy that I have I let you live as long as you don't go against me, isn't it more than enough of me returning my oh so little gratitude of you all that you show to me when I was a kid? In the first place you didn't even help me when those kids are bullying me, and you only feed me because the bandits are ordering you so we can be sold when I'm mature enough?" I said but as calm as possible, I'm not really angry with them nor have an intention to have revenge, I just don't care. "This is how far my connection of mine to all of you here, you are all strangers to me." With that they have no words to talk to me except one person. She suddenly kneel at me looking with her dead eye even tho i didn't command her, with intense emotion on her dead eye Mila is looking at me as if begging for something. "But... Oh come on Mila, I know what you wanted, I at least help the kids right? Haa..." I give up.

Mila stand up suddenly hug me with her naked decaying body and I can feel her joy but without a warning she suddenly push herself into me and we fall to the ground.

"Mila?" I ask her why she did that then I can see the head of the women who talk to me also fell to the ground, the eyes still open as if they don't even know that they died. I widen my eyes thinking of what happen and I saw a flash of a black mist passing by and intercept the incoming black blade towards us.

It looks like my wolf finish his job and now he is biting the jet black sword with his bloody mouth.

I look for where that sword came from and it shock me there is a skeleton that has blue flame surrounding its skull, its wearing black metallic armor and a tower shield with a disfigure human face in the front.

"Huh? Where did you came from?" I ask the skeleton but I realize its a monster so I didnt anticipate him to answer me, but my logic got shattered.

"Come on now, even tho you just kill me yesterday you already forgotten me? Now Im sad, I have no choice but to kill you then." I got surprise by the intelligent response of this monster skeleton but now I hear his voice I distinguish who that voice came from.

"I see, so you are that man." Yes the one who become the black skeleton knight is my so called father.
