Chapter 17: Resurrection rites

As the night blankets the forest the forest have been swallowed by the darkness only being illuminated by the three moon at the sky there is a spot is being lit by another source of light.

Near the entrance of the cave the party of the refugees has settled, they make a makeshift hut using the branches and leaves, one adult woman, Tina, is leading the party as she is experience on camping outside the civilization, she is leading the people and teaches them on what to do as she is an adventurer in her past life before she got caught by the bandits.

As the other adult women preparing the food they bring at the base camp when they left the party of Kyrie and her companion are now attending the dead bodies of the knights, Kyrie wanted to revive them as she wanted for them to be part to secure her safety, and she is intrigued on one knight in particular as she witness how strong the particular knight is, but she is not sure about the other knight she brings because she didnt see their actions, all of them for some reason are female knight and she picks them base on the insignias that are sticking on the metal armor they are wearing.

Kyrie now conjuring the miracles she has targeting the peculiar woman that she is interested, of course she remove the armor of the woman as she is now without dress. Kyrie have been amaze when she saw the naked body of the peculiar woman as she have this perfect body shape that she dreaming of, of course she still a child so she still have high hopes on her own future.

As usual method of her revival miracle extending her hands in front of her the black smoke manifesting in her hands are entering the opening of the woman crawling inside the body and soon after the body of the woman shakes a little not only that but Kyrie is feeling a lot of energy being sip away from her, determine to finish the ritual to revive a body, Kyrie hold on not to faint when finally all of the black smoke enters the body of the female knight then her eyes shut open and she instantly sit up and look around her.

"Huh? Why?" The female after sitting up, she is confuse and look around. Kyrie in other hand almost exhausted she manage to stand while being supported by Mila who is i beside her all the time and Hellebore ready to pounce any hostility if he feels them.

"Good evening, I'm Kyrie." With a sudden words the female knight after hearing a soothing voice like a bell chime she look in front of her and there she sees a beauty that she never seen before, black hair, wearing an aristocrat outfit giving her a childish smile she cant help but be charm a little as she cant take away her sight away from the person in font of her. "Looks like you are being confuse so I will say this straight to you, you died." Without hesitation and in a calm voice she utter this words.

"Huh? I see, this must be heaven then." Accepted and defeated she manage to calm herself.

"No, This is not heaven, I revive you, you are now an undead." The little girl respond to her and another confusion assaulted her brain, she cannot comprehend the wording of this little charming girl and as if she read the female knight thoughts Kyrie answer her without her needing to utter a question. "Remember you where being attack by soldiers I assume, and you died when you annihilate them." As if it triggered a memory, she finally remember what happen, she together with her companion they been attack by the neighboring country soldier in the unexpected place, she let the princess to runaway to report what happen and face the enemy who killed her companions, she remember on using her miracle that boosted her body but in return she will take the pain depending the amount of Mana that she spend, knowing that she cannot run away she uses all the Mana she have and in return she suffer a tremendous pain assaulted her whole body, she died because her hearts stops to beat.

"I don't know how to feel right now, did I really become an undead?" Accepting the reality she tried to acquire some confirmation towards the child in front of her proclaiming that she is the one who revive her.

"Yes, Because I needed you." With that words her heart she cannot feel suddenly throb once, she look at the child again and with a confident in her eyes you can see that no matter what she says it feels like you force to believe the words she speak of. Without much to say she accepted the words of the child. "For now I wanted to hear your story, and state your name." Said by the child urging her to speak.

"I'm sorry for being imprudent, My name Salvia Azuri, captain of the blue rose, 12th troops of the army of Granam Kingdom." She kneels on the front of Kyrie putting her right hands on her chest.

"I see so you really are knight, so let's hear your story and why you where in that situation and we will talk about what the future awaits for you. Just to make sure though no matter what I hear about you I have the final say here." Kyrie go near her and make her face closer towards Salvia's ear then she whisper. "You already my property." With that word she look straight on the face of the child and see her with wide grin plastered in her face like a naughty child who got her new toy to play with.
