Chapter 9: The Rescue 2

Dawn

The 3 awake early the next morning.

Dired: "Mornin guys"

Griz lays back down

Griz: "Good morning"

DJ: "Mornin Mornin"

Griz: "You guys got a strange dialect"

Dired: "Its native"

Dired thinks to himself

Dired: "Oh yeah, D, follow me. Remember about those stuff i promised?"

DJ follows Dired

DJ: "Yeah, what bout dem?"

Dired grabs a box. He hands DJ a bulletproof vest, blue boots and a blue hoodie.

Dired: "There, some new drip. And there's also spare jeans in the closet."

Dired leaves DJ to get changed. DJ puts them on.

He thinks about what to do with the prison pants and shoes. He goes outside and burns them using sticks and a match. When DJ goes back inside, he sees he still has his bandage on. He takes it off and his eye is intact. The scar on his face is once again red.

DJ: "That damn crow....at least he didn't mess up my handsome face"

Griz walks into the room

Griz: "D, we are ready to head out"

DJ: "Right, comin now"

DJ exits the room with Griz. Dired sits in the backseat with his sniper. Griz sits in shotgun with her SS4 and DJ sits down to drive with his KKT12 near the middle.

Dired: "When since you coulda drive"

DJ: "I cant"

Dired: "But last night you was driving good though"

DJ: "Then I'll do that but swerve it"

Griz: "What do you mean by that?"

Morning

DJ steps on the gas drives fast to the facility. They reach close by the entrance in no time. Griz is dazed. Dired is ecstatic.

Dired: "You tore up that road boy"

DJ: "Indeed I did, now lets go."

The 3 make their way close to the entrance. There are guards by the main gate.

Dired: "As i smelt, there's 5 present"

DJ: "Right, but what do we do here."

Griz: "We climb up the wall, we need to get Dired to that sniper tower. You'll also need to take down the others as well as to not have other interferences"

Dired: "No problem for me. We use the darkness of the early morning to hide us. Ill have some target practice with the guards, you find AJ and get out"

DJ: "I also just realized something. Mandy is a contact of ours. She told us there's 3 facilities on the island. What of he's not in this one?"

Dired: "Trust me on this, its gotta be the one. My memories before becoming a half wolf are correct. Although i can call in a helper"

DJ & Griz: "A helper?"

Dired immediately grabs his sniper rifle and slams it into the ground. As he does he chants these words.

"Go Forth, Companion"

Just then, a circular effigy appears and glows. Out comes a giant direwolf.

DJ: "Hold on a sec, that's..."

Dired: "Correct. It's him."

Griz is impressed

Dired: "Yuki Reborn"

DJ: "How is this possible? Is he the same dog?"

Dired: "Somehow during my absence, Yuki had left he told me"

DJ: "He told you??!?"

Dired: "I can understand him and other wolves"

DJ: "But there's no other wolves in Nassau. Plus wasn't he a potcake? How'd he become a wolf?"

Dired: "Based on my knowledge, he always had a special gift. Him being my companion means we are linked by the soul. So when i changed, he changed too. That's also when I learnt there's magic, arts and incantations as well as elements in this world."

DJ: "This is so bizarre. It feels there's hidden secrets of our world"

Dired: "Almost like the anime and mangas we've seen. It seems that paranormal things are starting to occur, not only as a result of the SIC but also a direct rift in the timeline"

DJ: "So you're saying something is affecting the world?"

Dired: "Indeed. I've seen some things but i cant put my head together. Just don't be surprised if you run into mythological creatures"

DJ nods his head and stares over at Yuki

Dired: "Yuki, follow Griz and DJ and see if you can sniff out Auddle"

Dired hands an undershirt to Yuki for him to smell. Yuki has an idea of which direction he's in

Dired: "He's got a lead, its go time"

DJ: "But how are we gonna get up the wall?"

Dired: "You get on Griz, I get on Yuki"

Griz: "Hold on a sec, i'm not some circus bear. Nor am i a trusty steed"

DJ: "We really have no choice Griz, we don't have any rapells or casters"

Griz hesitates

Griz: "Fine, hop on"

DJ hops on Griz's back. Griz is embarrassed. Dired hops on Yuki

Griz: "Lets get this over with"

*God, this is embarrassing*

They scale the wall. Immediately Yuki takes out a guard at the tower.

Dired: "I got these guys, you guys just get through the wall"

Dired gets off of Yuki

DJ, Griz and Yuki hop over the wall and is seen approaching an entrance. Dired grabs a suppressor out his pocket and attaches it to his rifle.

Dired: "Lets see, 5 other towers? Ill hit em all with a headshot"

Dired aims his sniper rifle

Dired: "I'll take you all down in less than 30 seconds"
