The cold air hit Eve's face at the same time the realization did.What was she doing at this hour? She didn't think this through, what did she have so urgent to talk to Gracie that she drove on her motorcycle at 1 AM? The answer was uncertain, unavailable. She seemed pathetic.
The sound of a door opening disturbed her thoughts, immediately seeing Gracie's face who had confusion written all over it.
"What are you doing here Eve?" asked Gracie utterly confused, Eve appearing at her door at this hour was unusual.
"Come with me please" begged Eve with newly found confidence, hoping Gracie would agree to go with her.
"fine" said Gracie hopping on Eve's most precious possession. Motors were an unknown fear of Gracie, not having the courage to tell Eve she gritted her teeth and tightened herself close hoping nothing horrible would happen.
The older girl had no place in mind, just driving around town, hoping some amazing place would suddenly appear and her 'plan' would be safe. And a place did appear, the edge of a sharp hill right outside town. At night the city lights were shining brightly, an image taken out of a movie scene.
Gracie scarely got off the motorcycle and waited for Eve to talk, the later not daring to utter a single word.
"So you brought me here for what?" asked Gracie sincerely not understanding the other girl's reason.
"I wanted to talk to you"
"So talk, there's nothing stopping you here" told Gracie starting to get annoyed
"I feel like you're mad at me" said Eve looking at Gracie trying to find a motive to touch her. " And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for running away, I'm sorry for barging in at 1 AM and I'm definitely sorry what I want ."
"What do you want?" asked a confused Gracie, not really seeing where this was going
"I want you" replied Eve not even thinking about consequences." I want to talk to you whenever I need, I want to make you smile, to hear you talk, I want to hold you, but most definitely I want to kiss you" confessed Eve shamelessly.
"What?" uttered Gracie, not daring to look the amber haired girl in the eyes. "You want me?"
"More than anything I ever wanted" said Eve craving for a drop of Gracie's attention.
"If you wanna kiss me so bad then do it" said Gracie finally meeting Eve's eyes, both girls feeling the tension between them raising by the minute, the air growing thick, both of them not having the courage to break the intense eye contact. Eve slowly leaning in, closing the space between them.

As the clock hit 3 AM Eve entered Gracie's neighborhood, not wanting to get away from the girl but knowing it was the right thing.
"Call me" said Eve the second the motorcycle stopped in front of the other girl's house.
"Maybe I'll just have to do that" replied Gracie slowly walking away from Eve, not before kissing her again.
