TW:Sexual harrasement and violence
Haneul and Heeseung walked outside, taking a leisurely stroll in the cool breeze of the night. Haneul, lost in thought about Sunghoon having So-he as his plus one, was broken out of her thoughts by Heeseung.
"I'm sorry if I said something that bothered you earlier," Heeseung said.
"Oh, no, you didn't. I just have a lot on my mind," she nervously chuckled, not realizing that the silence between them might be making him uncomfortable.
"So, you just started with SkyLine Air, you said?" She asked, diverting the conversation.
Heeseung nodded, and a light chuckle escaped him at the sudden shift in mood. "What were you doing before?" She inquired.
"I was living in New York and working for a branch abroad," he said, looking at her.
"Oh, New York?!" Haneul exclaimed, stopping abruptly. "Yeah," Heeseung laughed at her cute reaction. "I lived there too. I did my training there," she shared.
"I loved New York so much. I met a lot of friends there. Did you ever go to Central Park?" She asked him excitedly, glad to have found someone to share her New York experiences with.
"I did, plenty of times actually," Heeseung replied.
"Did you date at all when you were there?" Heeseung's unexpected question caught her off guard.
"I-I didn't," she stuttered.
"Oh, I'm so surprised, Ms. Kim. You're stunning. I imagine you had a lot of suitors, though, right?" Heeseung complimented, causing her to blush.
"I mean, there were a few attempts, but I was busy with a lot of things then," she explained.
A short silence followed before Heeseung broke it. "Are you busy now? I would love to take you out for dinner sometime, if you're not busy," he continued.
The cold breeze caused Haneul's nose and cheeks to turn a slight shade of red, but Heeseung's flirtatious words deepened the color. "Are you cold?" He asked, his hand coming up to her face, fingers slightly grazing her cheeks.
Haneul found herself unable to respond, and she was taken aback when he took off his suit jacket, draping it over her shoulders. He didn't move back, instead looking down at her, gazing at her eyes and then down at her lips. Haneul started to feel slightly uncomfortable, not wanting to hold eye contact. As his face moved closer, she freaked out a little, placing her hand on his chest to keep him from moving closer.
"Um, we should get back to the venue," she said lightly, hoping he would back away.
"Why? I'm enjoying my time alone with you," he insisted, starting to lightly force her face closer to his. "There's no one around; no one will see us," he added, making Haneul feel increasingly uneasy.
"Heeseung, I don't want to," she said, her voice shaky as she tried to pull away from him.
"Come on, no one will see us," he insisted, this time a little more forceful. Haneul squirmed under his grip, attempting to free herself, but he was much stronger.
"Heeseung, no!" She cried out as he attempted to capture her lips, only landing kisses on her cheeks as she refused to let him kiss her. "stop!" She yelled, tears now brimming in her eyes as she tried to push him away.
In a swift motion, she felt his body ripped away from hers. She watched as Sunghoon repeatedly punched Heeseung in the face until he fell on the ground. Heeseung attempted to get up, but Jake, who had been following behind Sunghoon, quickly hovered over him, preventing any further attempts.
