"I'll have to call you back, love," So-he said abruptly, causing a slight panic to take over Sunghoon. "I need that signature, don't forget that, babe," Sunghoon grimaced, desperately hoping that his feigned detachment would keep So-he from harming Haneul. So-he smiled like a deranged person before hanging up on Sunghoon.

"So," she said, walking back over to Haneul. So-he stood menacingly over Haneul before delivering a rough kick to her shoulder, knocking her back. "Do you need to hear more to realize that he doesn't care about you?!" So-he taunted, reveling in her cruel game. She reached down, grabbing a handful of Haneul's hair and yanking her up, leaving Haneul defenseless.

"I hope you're learning your lesson," So-he mocked, callously throwing Haneul down on the ground again. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go check on Heeseung. Oh," So-he stopped, turning around to face Haneul, "and I also have to get ready to see Sunghoon. I'm sure he's glad I finally know the truth and is dying to see me." So-he said in a delusional state, relishing the twisted satisfaction of her own distorted reality.

So-he entered the room where Heeseung and Jake were, a deranged smile plastered on her face as she approached the two. Heeseung, with a glare directed at Jake, seemed annoyed by his presence.

"Finally, you're back," Heeseung remarked, his curiosity piqued by the excitement behind So-he's smile. "What's up with you?" he inquired.

"I knew it!" So-he exclaimed, causing both Heeseung and Jake to exchange confused looks. "What?" Heeseung questioned.

"He doesn't care about her, he just wants to take the enterprise from her," So-he explained with manic enthusiasm. "I spoke with him just now. He told me everything. He even called me babe!" she added gleefully.

Heeseung remained skeptical, but he chose not to question her further. On the other hand, Jake, who was still bound on the floor, was shocked and perplexed by the new information. So-he continued her twisted revelation.

"He doesn't even care if we kill her... he said it would be better for him if we did, actually," she whispered with an evil smile.

"Woah, wait," Heeseung interjected. "We never said we'd do that," he stated, to which So-he shot him a glare. Jake, keen on playing along with Sunghoon's act, tried to comprehend the absurdity of So-he's words. As Sunghoon's best friend, he suspected this was all part of a plan to rescue Haneul.

"Okay, well, can you guys tell that idiot to come and get me?" Jake suggested, faking annoyance. "Since you guys know now, there's no point in keeping me here. I swear, that guy is always getting me into trouble," Jake muttered.

"You knew?" So-he asked, suspicious.

"Of course, I knew. I'm his best friend. I'm actually glad you guys found out. She was getting unbearably annoying," Jake lied, referring to Haneul. "I will tell you, though, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy if you killed her." he said earning a crazed glare from So-he, which caused him to gulp nervously. "I think he wants to do it himself. He gets off on things like that, believe it or not," Jake fabricated, attempting to play into So-he's warped perception.

"I don't think that's true," Heeseung retorted, his glare intensifying as he focused on Jake. "How do we know you're not just making that up? Why wouldn't you say anything knowing your life is in danger?" Heeseung questioned skeptically. Jake, feeling the pressure, gulped nervously but managed to recompose himself.

"I already said he's my best friend. Why would I tell you his secret?" Jake lied convincingly. "Now that I know he told you himself, of course, I'll talk about it, but I'm not a traitor," he stated confidently. "Now, hurry up and let me go. I'm of no use to you now," Jake insisted. "Or tell Sunghoon to come pick me up," he suggested, trying to maintain a facade of cooperation. "Whichever one works best."

Sunghoon waited anxiously at home by his phone. He had tried calling Hanuel's phone again but the call wasn't going through. There were thousands of thoughts going through his head as he tried to figure out what he could do. As he sat anxiously trying to come up with the best plan he heard a loud knock on the front door. Quickly he got up and opened the door hoping to be met by Haneul on the other side but to his surprise it was Jake who stood there hunched against the wall.

"W-what a-" before Sunghoon could finish his sentence Jake grabbed him by the collar and pushed him inside. "You better explain yourself Park." Jake huffed "Do you know what the hell I just went through?!" He exclaimed, "Now, you better have a good explanation as to why you told them to KILL HANEUL!" Jake exclaimed causing Sunghoon's eyes to widen and his blood to run cold.

Gaining the strength Sunghoon pushed Jake off of him causing him to fall over on the ground with a loud thud. "THEY K-KILLED HER?!" Sunghoon asked in a panic.

"N-no," Jake grunted as he got off the ground. "I figured this was a scheme of yours to get her back and told them that you wanted to do it." Jake explained. " I wanted to do what?" Sunghoon asked. "Kill her," Jake whispered looking over at Sunghoon. "Are you crazy!?" Sunghoon exclaimed about to push Jake down to the ground once again. "I don't wa-" Sunghoon was cut off by Jake once again. "I know that! But So-he was going to do it herself if I didn't say that," Jake began to explain to Sunghoon.

"You should have seen her man, she looked deranged. I told her that I knew this was all an act for you to get Kim Enterprise and that you got off on killing people so you wanted to kill Haneul yourself. I told them to let me go because I was just helping you with the plan and didn't like Haneul because she was annoying." Jake rushed out.

Sunghoon listened to every detail carefully. As he listened he observed Jake's appearance, he was beat up and had a minor cut on his eyebrow. "Are you okay?" Sunghoon finally asked.

"No," Jake said, "my head hurts and let me tell you, that Heeseung guy made me wish they would've just ended me." Jake confessed, "He's annoying."

"So, how are we gonna get to her?" Sunghoon asked as he helped Jake sit on the couch and went to fetch him a glass of water.

"I heard her say she was gonna call you later tonight," Jake replied. "I have no idea where they took us they blind folded me on the way out or else I would just take you, but it was definitely an abandoned building ." Jake exclaimed. "we just have to be patient, I doubt she'll kill Haneul. I told her it was your fantasy so I'm sure she'll want to fulfill that for you." Jake murmured taking the water from Sunghoon.
