Matteo rowed them out to the middle of his grandparents large pond. A pond that his own father rowed his mother out to when they would visit. He thought this would be the perfect time to start their tradition.

By the time he lets out his last grunt and pulls in the oars, he takes the hem of his shirt, exposing his chiseled abs to wipe the sweat that collected in his hairline and brow.

Almost instantly he catches his bashful wife trying to hide her obvious ogling, he tilts up her sun hat. She was caught red handed. She looked at him with innocence and bright red cheeks.

"If this boat wasn't so small, I'd f*ck you in it," he teasingly banters with hundred percent certainty.

She hides her face once again, trying to conceal not only her embarrassment but arousal.

Courageously, she teases back. "Then I suggest we find a bigger boat."

Suddenly the boat sways side to side, she grips onto her seat, peering up from her hat and seeing Matteo sitting only inches away. He practically jumped two seats over in less than a couple of seconds.

"What are you trying to do, capsize us?"

"Give me your legs," he demands.

She scrunches her eyebrows. "What, why?"

"We don't need a bigger boat," he smirks, parting her legs.

She squeals excitedly and nervously, closing her legs quickly. "Matteo," she whispers. "You're grandparents-"

"Then I suggest you try and be quiet," he smiles, parting her legs once again.

No matter how much she wanted to partake, she knew deep down that she couldn't do this right outside where his grandparents sat. Not only was it tacky but inappropriate.

Thinking quickly, she reaches into the water and splashes him. He freezes, slowly realizing what just happened as water drips down his face and hair tips.

They stare at each other in shock, both frozen in silence.

Instantaneously, Matteo reaches for the water, cupping a handful and directing at her. She jumps in sheer surprise, her own hair and face wet.

They make eye contact briefly before mindlessly laughing at one another. The sexual tension became overwhelming, they just needed to cool down a little before the boat actually capsized.

"Matteo," she smiles. He hums. "We're not too far along, you know," they make eye contact with her huge stomach. "Before you know it, there will be three of us. Can you believe it?"

He smiles longingly, "I feel like I've been waiting for this day all my life. Never did I expect to have a child of my own. I remember I was very adamant that I didn't want this type of life."

He looks up from her stomach, a not so faint smile had started to turn downwards.

"But that's all changed now," he reassures. "I didn't want to make the same mistakes as my father did. I know I won't be like him. I'll be better."

Her smile returns. "I know you will be."

As they talked, shared and laughed out on the pond, it felt like it was just only the two of them on this Earth. It was them against the world, no evil would ever touch them again.

"Matteo, can I say something?" She holds in her breath, knowing what she was going to say may alter the mood.

"What is it?"
