chapter nine

*knock knock knock*

no answers. Kel tried to enter his best friend's house, but the door didn't budge of an inch. he got then, an crazy idea. entering Sunny's house by the back door.
-"wait... that's some kind of intrusion or breaking in ?" Kel thought. "no, it's to save your best friend from a suicide attempt."
Kel managed to get in Sunny's garden, and fortunately, the back door wasn't locked. the house was plunged in a total darkness, but that's not surprising for Kel, Sunny loves to be in dark places. he made his way upstairs really quickly and suddenly opened Sunny's bedroom door.
-"Sunny !" he exclaimed, a bit panicky. Sunny had the bottle of prozac in his hand, and in his other, around 5 pills. Kel came right in time, Sunny didn't got the time to swallow more than he's physically capable of handling. the black haired boy was surprised, confused.
-"what the heck are you doing !?" Kel ran to Sunny and gripped his wrist tightly, making the pills fall on the ground. Sunny didn't knew what to do, what to say, what to think, and he was a bit disappointed that his suicide attempt has been interrupted. all his suffering could've been over, but Kel came in.
-"Sunny, why ? i told you, come talk to me if you feel bad !" he was on the verge of tears. the tall boy pulled the smaller one in a tight embrace, stroking his hair. automatically, Sunny hugged him back, face buried in his shoulder, holding back his tears.
-"i'm sorry." are the only words he managed to mumble. 
-"shh, let it out." Kel said with a soothing voice.

-"accept his help." a voice said in Sunny's mind.
-"never." Sunny responded to the voice.
-"pathetic, egoist, selfish ! when will you care of Kel's worries, of his pleas to help you !?" he harshly said.
-"i don't want to be a burden to him."
-"i don't care, open up."
-"Omori."
-"Sunny." and a silence took place.
-"Sunny !" a distant voice said.
-"accept his help." Omori lastly said.
-"Sunny !! can you hear me bud !?" the voice was getting clearer and louder. Sunny opened his eyes again, and he saw Kel next to him. he was laid on his bed, and was confused of what just happened.
-"what happened ?" asked Sunny.
-"you fainted, are you okay ?"
-"i think i am..."
Sunny held his head with his hand, having an awful headache. Kel tried multiple times to get a word out of Sunny, he begged him to tell him what's wrong, but Sunny refused and said nothing, once again.

the black haired boy was now alone again, and he then saw on his phone that he had a new message. he listened, and like always, it was his mother.
-"hey Sunny ! it's mommy. i know this might not be a good new for you but it is for me. me and your father talked with each other and we both agreed to let each other another chance in our relationship, meaning we will live together again. i know your relationship with your father is not good, but i hope you will do some efforts. we come back home in 2 days ! take care, see you !" bip.
Sunny didn't believed his ears. his father will live here again, in this house he swore to never put a foot in again ? in this house where his "son" is living ? he didn't like that at all. his father hated him ever since Mari's death, and he always yelled at him for no reasons. he even got hits sometimes... the boy felt his stomach hurting, he was hungry. it has been 3 days since he had eaten something, so carefully, went downstairs to the kitchen, and took a small snack with a glass of water.

THUNK.
