Third Person's P.O.V.
It was a chill night, the kind where shadows seemed to stretch endlessly and the Port Mafia would be roaming around. A young woman, barely nineteen, sprinted down the alley with a small girl, who looked around five. Behind them, a group of heavily armed men gave chase, their presence a menacing force in the dimly lit alleyway.
Reaching a dead end, the young woman sighed, resigned to her fate. She gently pushed the small girl to the side. In that moment, three other people, who had been walking nearby, stopped and watched the unfolding scene with keen interest. The young woman turned to face the men, her demeanor shifting dramatically. Her expression hardened, and a palpable change in her aura gave the men one last silent warning to retreat.
When they didn't move, she decided to act. The men, sensing the impending danger, aimed their guns at her. Suddenly, a red glow enveloped her body, and she began to laugh loudly. Panic set in among the men, but they held their ground and fired. Miraculously, the bullets didn't penetrate her; instead, they ricocheted back, striking the men who had fired them.
As the men fell, some fled in terror. The young woman's previous calm was replaced by a fierce, uncontrollable power. Red glowing scars covered her face and body, giving her an otherworldly appearance. She seemed to be losing control, her power surging beyond her ability to manage it.
Among the three observers, one man turned to the others. "President, I think I know the ability she's using. One of my former collegue had a similar power. From what I can see, she's lost control," said Dazai.
As Dazai approached, the young woman, now driven by her uncontrolled power, moved to attack him. But before she could strike, Dazai caught her hand. A blue light emanated from his touch, and the red glow around her body began to fade. Slowly, she fell asleep, the tension draining from her form.
Ranpo and the President turned their attention to the small girl, who was crying softly. Ranpo pulled a chocolate bar from his coat and handed it to her. She accepted it with a shy smile.
"What's your name?" the President asked gently.
"Yuri. Thank you for the chocolate," she replied.
The President smiled warmly. "Why were you running?"
"Those bad guys were trying to kill me, and oneesan was trying to save me," Yuri explained.
"What's the name of your oneesan?" he asked.
"I don't know. I just met her yesterday," Yuri answered, her eyes drooping with fatigue.
Seeing her condition, the President decided not to press further. He turned to Dazai. "Dazai, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Yes," Dazai replied.
They decided to take both the young woman and Yuri with them. Ranpo made a call, instructing someone to come to the agency as quickly as possible. The night's events had set in motion a series of questions that demanded answers, and the Armed Detective Agency was now entangled in a mystery that promised to be as dangerous as it was intriguing.
