I came back to the dorm thinking about the offer Dazai proposed to me.

Joining the agency doesn't sound bad at all. Not to mention, they told me they would even train me in combat. But why are they going to such lengths to recruit me and even teach me?

Suddenly, the door opened. "Hey, how was your day?" Ayya said, looking tired from her classes.

"Good. How was yours?" I asked.

"God, I have a lot of projects to complete, and deadlines are approaching. I have so much work to do," Ayya said, frustrated, as she opened her laptop.

"Are you going to work now?" I asked.

"Yeah, I should complete them before the deadline," she replied.

"Hmm, before you start, can we discuss something?" I asked. Ayya turned towards me, her expression serious.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Geez, why are you staring at me so seriously?" I asked.

"Well, whenever you say we need to discuss something, you usually create a mess and then ask for my help," she replied.

"It's not that. It's different this time. So, there was this one man in the agency who helped me that night. I told you about him, remember? Dazai," I said.

"Yeah, and?" Ayya asked, now curious and confused, not understanding why I was bringing up the topic.

"So, the agency found out that I am not Akane, and Dazai came to college today to meet me," I said.

Ayya was in shock. "What? They found out? What happened next?" she asked, both curious and tense.

"So, they offered me to join the agency," I told her everything Dazai had said. Ayya was in shock, and after a minute, she replied, "I think you should go."

"Huh?"

"You should go. You really are having problems controlling your ability. Moreover, it's safer to stay there than here because, as he said, if the Port Mafia finds out, you'll be in danger. Not to mention, you can't even control your ability," Ayya replied.

"Are you serious or just messing with me?" I asked.

"I am serious. It's better to learn to control your ability," she replied.

"Even I was thinking the same," I said with a smile. "But you know, right? Joining the agency means we won't be together in the dorm anymore," I said.

"Girl, I have many friends, unlike you, to share a dorm with. So stop worrying about it," she replied with a mocking tone, to which I playfully hit her on the back.

"Are you sure?" I asked once more, and she nodded.

"Now don't disturb me. I already have a lot of assignments to complete," she said, turning towards her laptop.

"Sure, happy assignments," I said and went to my bed.

Maybe I should give it a try. Who knows, it might be cool working there, chasing all the bad guys like they show in movies. Wait, I'm overthinking again. Stop it, Y/N. I finally went to sleep.

The next day, I was ready with my decision. I needed to tell Ayya, but I couldn't find her. I took my phone to call her but saw she had already sent me a message.

The message said, "I had to go to college early because of some project work. No matter what you decide, I'll support you, so decide wisely."

"Don't worry. I've made my decision. I'm going to the agency," I replied and started towards the agency. After half an hour, I reached the agency building. Now, standing in front of it, realization struck me. I lied to them when I met them before, and now they know everything.
