Everyone introduced themselves to me, and I introduced myself to them. They were all very welcoming. While I was talking to Tanizaki, Kunikida approached me and said, "The President wants to see you in his office."

I nodded and made my way to Fukuzawa's office. As I opened the door, I saw that Ranpo and Dazai were also there. "President, you called me?" I asked.

"Yes, come in and have a seat," Fukuzawa replied. I took a seat beside Dazai. Ranpo was lounging on the couch in the corner of the room, munching on his usual snacks.

"We're here to discuss your work and your ability," Fukuzawa began. I nodded in response. "First, we haven't told anyone in the agency about your ability. Only the people present in this room know about it. This is to ensure your safety. If the Port Mafia finds out, they won't waste a single minute trying to capture you."

"So, only you, Dazai, and Ranpo know about it?" I asked. Fukuzawa nodded.

Dazai leaned in, his expression serious for once. "Y/N, why don't you explain what you know about your ability so I can gauge how similar it is to Chuuya's ability?"

I took a deep breath. "Basically, my ability is gravity manipulation. It allows me to manipulate the gravity of any object I touch."

"Do you know anything related to Arahabaki?" Dazai asked.

"Huh? No, what is it?" I replied, confused.

"It's okay. You'll find out when it's necessary," Dazai said, waving it off.

"President, as discussed, I think I can train her in using her ability to gain better control over it. For combat training, I believe Kunikida will be best suited," Dazai suggested.

Fukuzawa nodded. "Okay, I'll talk with Kunikida."

Dazai turned to me with a smirk. "So, Y/N-chan, why don't you try using your ability once?"

"Huh?" I was shocked by the sudden suggestion. "Wait, I can't control my ability. I might create a mess, especially in the office."

"Just use it. I'll take care of anything that happens," Dazai assured me. I looked towards Fukuzawa, who simply nodded in agreement with Dazai.

"Fine," I said, closing my eyes. I concentrated on the extra chair beside me. To my surprise, I didn't lose control. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the chair floating in the air, perfectly under my control. "Wait, how am I able to control my ability? This is the first time I've not gone out of control."

"My ability, All Men Are Equal, has an effect only on my subordinates—that is, on members of my agency. This ability allows control over the output of another's abilities," Fukuzawa explained. "You passed the exam, so you are my subordinate now."

"So it allows me to have control over my ability," I said, cutting in. Fukuzawa nodded.

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. "I don't have to fear hurting anyone like before." I suddenly stood up and bowed to Fukuzawa. "Thank you very much, President. I will definitely work well for the agency and will not let this ability go to waste."

Fukuzawa smiled, and I returned to my seat. Dazai, smirking, teased me, "Oh, is this the new Y/N-chan we're going to see? So determined, a new version of yourself?"

"Stop it, Dazai," I replied, already annoyed by his behavior. His smirk didn't falter.

Fukuzawa interjected, "You can just observe the work today. You can move to the agency dorms tomorrow, and you'll be working under Dazai and Kunikida."

I nodded in agreement. "And yeah, for your ability training, let's have it three days a week. On the days you don't have combat training, I'll be working with you on your ability," Dazai added.

"Okay," I replied and then bowed to Fukuzawa before leaving his office.

My desk was shown, and it was beside Kunikida's. Across from me sat Atsushi and Dazai. Suddenly, Kunikida cleared his throat. "Oyy, rookie. The President told me I need to give you combat training. First, tell me this: do you have any experience in combat or fighting?" he asked.

"No."

"None at all, not even once?"

"I just went to Taekwondo classes for a year when I was thirteen, but that was a long time ago. Other than that, I don't have any experience," I replied.

"I see. So today evening at," he opened his ideals book and began checking his schedule, "6 o'clock, I'm free. Let's first assess your current level, then decide what you should train on. Is that okay?" he asked, now directly staring at me.

"Okay," I replied.

With that, he started doing his work again. Tanizaki guided me on how things worked around the agency and what my responsibilities would be. He also gave me the dorm keys so I could move my luggage to the agency dorm. Everyone here was so different. Kunikida seemed like a workaholic, always working without breaks. Dazai never did his work and constantly annoyed Kunikida, disrupting him. I couldn't understand how these two were partners. Atsushi worked diligently, while Ranpo always munched on his snacks. Tanizaki and Naomi did their work, but I was shocked to learn they were siblings—their behavior didn't seem sibling-like at all. Overall, everything seemed good here, but something was bugging me since the morning, and I couldn't understand what it was.

"Oyy, what are you thinking so deeply?" Kunikida cut off my trailing thoughts.

"Huh? Nothing, just..." I started to say.

"Let's go. It's almost time," Kunikida interrupted, looking at his watch, standing up, and heading somewhere. "Okay," I said, following him.

He took me to an open space. It was almost dark, and no one was around.

"Alright then, I'm going to start throwing some punches your way. Your job is to try and block them without getting hurt. Got it?" Kunikida said.

"Got it," I replied.

He started punching. It was tough for me to block at first, and when he punched my hand, it really hurt. Kunikida noticed but didn't stop, only increasing the pace.

"One thing you need to remember is to keep your fists in the correct position when you're blocking. When you're blocking, you need to absorb the impact of the punch. It'll still sting, but it'll help prevent you from stumbling backward," Kunikida instructed. I nodded while defending his punches.

This continued for half an hour before we stopped. I was exhausted—completely drained—and collapsed to the ground. Kunikida, not looking exhausted at all, stared at me before extending his hand to help me up. I took his support and stood up.

"Okay, now let's start with kicking. Your job is to try and block both punches and kicks," he said.

"Huh,"

I am going to be dead by the end of this training.
