Y/N's p.o.v

After returning to my room, I sighed, finally free of the day's relentless training. I let the warm water of my bath wash away the aches and soreness until I felt my muscles relax, my mind finally unwinding. Freshly dressed in my coziest pajamas, I tied my hair up into a loose bun and glanced at my phone. 8:30 p.m. Of course, I was running late again.

I grabbed my phone, slipped on my slippers, and headed out, making my way down the quiet corridor toward Higuchi's room. The thought of a sleepover with her and Gin made me feel an odd flutter of excitement. I'd never imagined that I'd be having sleepovers here, with Port Mafia members, of all people. My last sleepovers were with Ayya and a few dormmates. But here? It was surreal. And after everything —spending a night in lighthearted company sounded like the perfect break I'd been craving.

When I reached Higuchi's room, I knocked twice and waited, feeling a bit of that excitement building again. Moments later, the door opened to reveal Gin's blank face, her sharp eyes studying me for a second before she opened the door wider.

"You made it," Gin said, stepping aside to let me in.

"Sorry, I ran a bit late." I replied, offering her a small smile.

"We thought you bailed on us" Higuchi said who came out of other room with some packed snacks in her hand.

"Nah, wouldn't miss this," I replied "Not every day I get to crash a Mafia sleepover."

Higuchi chuckled, rolling her eyes. "Well, I'm glad you're here. Trust me; this is way more fun than usual Port Mafia business." She leaned in with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Besides, Gin and I could use a little break too."

Gin nodded slightly, her gaze flickering over us. "It's not often we get to relax," she murmured, her tone soft but serious. "Consider it a night off."

I watched as Higuchi and Gin began setting everything up. My eyes scanned the room, taking in the careful preparation Higuchi had put into this—snacks stacked on a tray, a selection of horror DVDs, a Monopoly board, a deck of cards, and... my eyes stopped on a few glass bottles glinting in the dim light. I blinked, trying to make out the labels. Wait...

"Is that... alcohol?" I asked, a bit surprised as I glanced over at them.

Higuchi looked up with a smirk. "Yeah, of course. What, don't you drink?" she asked, sounding half-amused.

I do drink...but I'm kind of a lightweight. It's always been embarrassing to admit it around people. But I brushed the thought away quickly and gave a confident nod. "I do," I replied, doing my best to sound nonchalant. A little won't hurt, I reasoned with myself.

Higuchi grinned. "Good! A sleepover without drinks would be pretty dull, don't you think?" She flashed me a playful look, and I managed an awkward smile, nodding along.

"Yeah... right," I replied, trying not to overthink it.

Once everything was in place, we settled down on the bed. I leaned back against the wall, tucking a cushion onto my lap for some extra comfort. Gin quietly took a seat across from us, her gaze calm and focused as always, watching Higuchi with mild interest.

Higuchi clapped her hands together, looking pleased. "Alright, here's the plan: first, we're watching a horror movie—so I hope you're ready—then, we'll hit the games, and, of course, drink. Sound good?"

I shrugged, giving her a grin. "Sounds like a good night to me."

Gin simply nodded, her expression cool and unreadable as usual, but she seemed relaxed.
