A Second Chance

Chapter 14

Rory was standing near the bar at her and Logan's wedding reception when Lorelai walked over to her. "How's it going, Mrs Huntzberger?" She asked teasingly.

Rory chuckled.

"You're blushing" Lorelai said.

"Shut up" Rory said.

"So where's your husband?" Lorelai asked.

"He took Matthew to the bathroom, because apparently he's 'too big to go to the girls bathroom' and wanted Logan to take him to the men's" Rory said.

"Yeah, you were also around 4 years old when you became more aware that there's a difference between boys and girls, and that was also when you wouldn't let me help you get dressed anymore"

Rory chucked. Just then Logan wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Hi" he said and kissed her cheek.

"Hi" Rory said. "Did you lose my kid?"

"He saw Amy as we were walking out of the bathroom and insisted that he needed to go to her" Logan said.

"Ok"

After their wedding, Rory and Logan spent a week in Paris. When they got back, they went to Friday night dinner at the Gilmore's.

"So how was Paris?" Emily asked. "I wanna hear everything"

"It was their honeymoon, mom" Lorelai said. "I'm not sure you wanna hear everything"

"Lorelai" Emily rolled her eyes.

"Don't be gross" Rory said.

"Why is it gross?" Matthew asked

"Um...I'll tell you later" Rory said, hoping that Matthew would forget. "Why don't you tell your grandparents what you're doing tomorrow"

"Tee ball! Matthew said excitedly.

"Oh, that's fun" Lorelai said

"Because I'm gonna play baseball" Matthew said

"That's great"

One day in November, Colin and Stephanie came over with their 2 kids. Ava, who was 4, and Jackson, who was 6.

The kids were outside, jumping on the trampoline and Rory and Stephanie were sitting on the patio while Logan and Colin had gone to get pizza for everyone.

"So uh...can we expect little blond haired, blue eyed, baby Huntzbergers anytime soon?" Stephanie asked.

"Well, we do want to have a baby, but I'm a little nervous about it"

"Why? You've done it before. You know what it's like"

"About a year and a half ago I had a miscarriage" Rory said. "I'm just worried that I'll get pregnant and it'll happen again"

"I get that" Stephanie said. "But if you want a baby, you shouldn't let that stop you"

"I know"

"Plus, trying to have a baby means you get to have a lot of sex with your hot husband"

"Steph!"

"Ok, I'm happily married, but anyone with eyes can see that your husband is ridiculously hot"

"That's not the part I had a problem with" Rory said
