One Sunday morning in February, Rory was sitting in Paris and Doyle's living room, talking to Paris.

"How do the triplets like their new beds?" Paris asked. Both Noah and Ryan had been climbing out of their cribs for a few weeks so Rory and Logan decided to get rid of all the cribs and get the triplets small, toddler sized beds.

"I woke up with 3 babies in my bed" Rory said.

Paris chuckled.

"Did I tell you that Julie's obsessed with Matthew now?"

"You did not"

"It's the funniest thing" Rory said. "She follows him around everywhere going 'matoo!"

"Doesn't that bother him?"

"I don't think so" Rory said. "I mean, he loves the triplets and if at any given time he doesn't feel like playing with them he'll just go down to the playroom and they can't get down there on their own because we have baby gates"

Rory got home around 11, just in time to hear Matthew shouting downstairs.

"No!" Matthew shouted.

Rory went downstairs and found Matthew and Logan.

"Matthew, buddy, you can't-"

"You're not my real dad!" Matthew shouted. "I hate you!"

"Hey!" Rory said. "What's going on?"

"Mommy!" Matthew ran over to Rory and wrapped his arms around her legs. She could tell from the way he was breathing that he was crying.

Rory gave Logan a confused and worried look before crouching down to hug Matthew, letting him cry into her shoulder. "It's ok" she said softly as she rubbed his back. "It's ok"

Once Matthew had a few minutes to calm down, Rory brought him upstairs to his room so she could talk to him. She didn't like what she heard, but she had a feeling that it didn't really have anything to do with Logan and everything to do with Matt.

"Matthew, why were you yelling at Logan?" Rory asked. "That wasn't nice"

"He's not my real dad, he's just pretending" Matthew said.

"Pretending to do what?"

"That he's my dad. He thinks he is but he's not"

"Matthew, Logan isn't trying to be your dad. He knows that he's not" Rory said. "But he does love you and what you said to him was mean"

"It's not fair" Matthew said. "Everybody else has a dad but me"

"You're right" Rory said. "It isn't fair that your dad died but do you think that yelling at Logan will fix that?"

Matthew shook his head.

"No" Rory said. "Do you know that Logan loves you?"

Matthew nodded.

"I think that you really hurt his feelings and that maybe you owe him an apology" Rory said. "What do you think?"

Matthew nodded.

"Alright, I'll tell you what. Right now I want you to go apologize to Logan but what do you think if after lunch I take you to visit your dad's grave?"

"I think it's good" Matthew said.

"Alright, then let's go find Logan"

Rory followed Matthew down the stairs and watched him run straight to Logan and wrap his arms around his legs.

"Come here" Logan said and picked Matthew up. He glanced over at Rory before turning his attention to Matthew.

"I'm sorry" Matthew said and hugged Logan.
