You thought about it and remembered something you read about sharks. If you pet them between the eyes, it will immobilize them. Kirishima is like a shark to you, so maybe it will work.
You step in his path, which makes him abruptly stop. Before he can utter a word, you rub in between his eyes. He freezes, but within seconds, he closes his eyes.
You smile, "Kiri, I want you to listen to me. Ok?"
He nods but stays silent. He's actually enjoying this.
You continue, "You are the manliest man ever. Don't doubt that for an instant. Mistakes happen. You're human. Please don't say you aren't manly."
You remove your hand, and he opens his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Pebble. I just want to do my best, and I'm mad I made the mistake. You're right. I won't say I'm unmanly again."
He smiles and kisses your forehead, "You really know what to do when I need you."
"Of course. You're my shark. I love you."
He hugs you, "I love you too."
You giggle, "You know what would he real manly right now?"
"What?"
"You taking me to go get ice cream."
He breaks out in a huge gron, "Alright. Let's go get my beautiful pebble some ice cream."
You blush as he intertwine his fingers with yours. You are so happy the trick worked. Now you have a secret weapon every time you need to calm your shark.
