Eat (Maddie)

Bouncing over to Bakugou, you take a seat in the chair beside him at lunch. His mom packed him a big one and the food looks delicious. Normally, he will share if you ask. So, you open your mouth, wanting food. Without even saying anything, he shoves some of it into your mouth. Happily, you chew and everyone just blinks at you, confused.
Kaminari is the first to ask, "Since when does Bakugou share?"
"Since now!" You exclaim. "He's always nice enough to share with me."
Now, you and Bakugou are not a couple. He is just nice for no apparent reason. Of course, you do not mind. There is nothing wrong with a hot guy being nice to you. That being said, he is a very good friend to you, and you are very happy being around him. Plus, he always feeds you well.
Carrying several heavy suitcases, you walk to the dorms that you are moving into, tired and struggling to carry them.
Then, someone comes along and steals the bags. It takes a minute to recover from shock, but then you squint your eyes and find that it was Bakugou.  Aww. That was so sweet.
Shrugging, you continue walking and go to the room you have been given, and see that all your bags are inside. It seems the school really did bring all of your stuff. Most of your décor is black and basic, save a few cute things here and there.
Sighing, you sit on your bed and start unpacking, just wanting to get it done.
Midway, you stop. You smell something. Food. Climbing down the stairs, you follow your nose into the kitchen. There stands Bakugou, who has just finished making himself a bowl of ramen. Grinning, you walk over to him and tap his shoulder. Not even looking behind himself, he hands the bowl back to you and makes another for himself. He knew!
"Thank you!" You give him a hug, and he huffs in response.
"Whatever. Sit down while you eat. You're so clumsy."
Pouting, you reply, "Rude"
"Go. Now."
Walking away, you stick your tongue out. Meanie! Still, you sit down and start eating the spicy ramen. You love spicy food. Then, Bakugou sits beside you, so you two eat ramen together. A good day. "Oh, and thank you for helping me with my bags!"
"Mh."
When you finish eating, you go back to your room happily, not noticing the pair of red eyes that are glued to you. In your room, you play on your phone, bored out of your mind. There is not much to do.
"Argh!"
Mineta bumped into you in the hallway. He glares at you. This boy has always been mean to you because you are chubby, and that is not exactly is his type. Whenever he sees a girl that is not attractive to him, he gets nasty and mean.
The pervert is very rude and awful.
"Sorry-"
"You disgusting whale! Always in the way! You're so fat you take up this entire hallway!" This is just cruel. "You know, if you weren't always eating, you wouldn't be so fat. Loose some weight already. You might actually be a little pretty if you weren't so stinking fat."
Blinking back tears, you just nod, unable to say anything. What he says is true. You are fat. You are in the way. You do need to stop eating so much. Tired and hurt, you run. Just run. It is all you can do. Out the dorms' door you go, running past the sakura trees, and mindlessly running to who knows where.
You have not been eating lately. Why should you? What Mineta said was true. You just need to loose weight. So, you just will not eat. Between that and training, you should get slimmer, right? Yeah.
Then, one day, your dorm bedroom busts open. Since you have not eaten, you do not even have the strength to lift your head. Lifting your eyes, you find a certain blonde, holding a bowl of ramen.
"Eat."
"Mhmh."
"I wasn't asking."
"NOW!!"
Still, you do not move. Even if you wanted to, you do not think you could even eat. There is no strength left in your body.
How could you even try to eat? No. You just cannot.
"IF YOU DON'T EAT SOMETHING, I'M GONNA BLOW YOU UP!!"
"So what if you blow me up?" You feel too awful to even care anymore.
"WHAT'D YOU JUST SAY?!?!?!?!"
"I feel like crap anyway."
"YOU WOULDN'T FEEL THIS WAY IF YOU'D JUST EAT!!!"
"I don't want to. What's the point?"
His eyebrow begins to twitch. "YOU USED TO EAT ALL THE TIME!!! YOU'D STEAL MY FOOD!!! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!?!?!?!"
"It doesn't matter. Can you please go away? I wanna take a nap."
"ARGH!! FINE!!! STARVE FOR ALL I CARE!!!"
He stomps off, slamming the door behind him. You hate to make him upset, but you just do not have it in you to eat something. Occasionally you will sip on juice, but that is it. You cannot do any more than that.
Every day, Bakugou tries to coax you into eating. He will make your favorite foods or talk about different dishes you like.
It never works. Instead, you just nod your head, no energy to say anything anymore. School is a challenge, but you somehow get through.
Finally, you pass out. In the middle of class, your head just drops and you are gone. The whole room panics and freaks out, but Bakugou just picks you up and runs to the nurse's office. When he is told that your blood sugar just depleted, he gets angry. Why? Why did you not listen? This could have all been avoided.
Recovery Girl kisses your forehead, which gives your body the needed strength it has been lacking. In an hour you are awake again. The first face you see belongs to a certain blonde. The same blonde you have come to love recently. The same blonde that always takes care of you. That blonde. The one that you cannot even look in the eye right now. He must be so angry and disappointed right now.
"Well?" Yup. There it is. The disappointment in his voice. "Why didn't you listen?"
"I just didn't have it in me."
He hands you a tray of dumplings. "Eat."
Sighing, you take the tray, knowing that arguing is pointless by now.
"I told you several times to eat. I was worried sick. But did that matter to you? No. You didn't feel like it, so you didn't. You're such an idiot. Don't you know how difficult you've made  everything?"
"I'm sorry." Then, you just start crying. Remembering Mineta's words, you just cannot hold it in any longer. "I know. I'm an idiot. I'm stupid, I'm useless, I'm fat, I'm ugly-I'm a good-for-nothing. I'm sorry. I'm just in the way-"
"You're stupid for saying that crap. Where did you get any of these ideas?"
"Everybody thinks it. As Mineta says, I'm an ugly whale who just stays in the way."
"THOSE ARE LIES!!! DON'T LISTEN TO THAT STUPID PERVERT!!"
"But-"
"SHUT UP! You're beautiful, talented, and even adorable at times. So shut your stupid mouth. Lying to me is stupid."
"It's true and you know it."
"IDIOT!! YOU'RE GETTING ON MY NERVES NOW!!!!"
"Well-"
He grabs your face and kisses you. What? Why? How? Your mind moves in so many directions in only a second, because after that, it just goes blank. Thoughtlessly, you kiss back. How can you not? He is so alluring. He always has been. Now, he is right in front of you, willingly kissing you. Not smart. He should know better. This will probably break your heart in the end. When he says that he does not actually feel that way, and just wants to distract you, you will shatter.
Pulling back, he says while still holding your face, "You're mine now, got it? And you'd better not do anything stupid again. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go take care of something."
Without another word, he leaves. Sitting on the hospital bed, you go over everything he just said. You are his? What does that mean? Sighing, you conclude that you do not know and will find out later. What interrupts your thoughts is the sound of Mineta screaming. Oh no.
Quickly, you get up and run. There in the hallway is Bakugou, hands flaming and expression suggesting rage. "YOU PERVERT!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!! I'LL KILL YOU FOR SAYING ALL OF THAT FOR MY Y/N!!"
"Bakugou!!!" You run to him and grab his torso from behind. "Stop it. Let's not fight. Please."
"This extra is the reason you put yourself through all that crap. I'm gonna kill him."
"I'm okay now. See? Calm down."
"Why should I calm down?"
"Because killing him makes no difference. Please? I'll do anything. No more fighting."
"Fine. But only because you won't stop begging."
It did not take long for you to find out Bakugou meant that he wants you as a girlfriend. That surprised you, but you cannot complain. Since then, Mineta never bothered you, either. You are pretty sure Bakugou scared him away. Oh, well. He also feeds you a lot, which is probably from the anxiety of you passing out again. At first, you did not really want to eat as much, hearing negative words ring in your ears. However, he finally got to you and now that is all you ever do.
Sometimes it gets annoying, but at the end of the day, there is nothing you can do.
May as well be happy.
