Back in Amy's room.

—————————————————————

Amy laid down on her bed on her back with her arm over her forehead, thinking about the article she had just read.

It all seemed so weird. For a picture to determine your soulmate, and for consequences to occur if you were to kill them?

Why would someone ever think of that in the first place? What kind of sick person would even for a moment, want to do that to another person?

Amy was lost and confused in her own thoughts, when suddenly, she heard knocks at her door.

Knock Knock Knock.

The pink hedgehog perked her head up, sitting on her bed now. She called out for the person on the other side of the door to come in. As the door opened, her sister walked in.

"Hey Amy! Mom said she won't be home till later and that she wants me to order us some takeout for dinner since it will be awhile till she gets off work. What would you like?" Amia asked her younger sister, leaning against the opened door on her side.

Amy smiled softly at her.

"Can you order some pizza? I'm hungry!" The little one asked. Amia nodded her head in approval, taking out her phone to call a nearby pizza place.

"Sure! I'll call you when it's here." Amia said, turning to walk out the door.

Amy looked at her sister's glove as she saw her pull her phone out, more specifically, the full moon picture. She still wondered about these small pictures and the way they worked. Curiosity got the better of her as she called out for her sister.

"Hey, Amia?" The small one asked. Amia turned around to look at the youngest, tilting her head a bit to the side in slight confusion.

"What's up?" She asked curiously, wondering what Amy was going to tell her.

Amy took a deep breath as she looked down. She then looked back up at her sister, opening her mouth to say something, but then closing it, going against the idea. She then smiles at her with her eyes closed.

"N-Nevermind! It's nothing." She waved her hand, slightly stammering and trying to sound natural.

Amia looked even more confused than before. She tilted her head back to normal. However, she brushed it off and thought Amy was just being a little weird. She walked out the room, closing the door behind her, leaving Amy with her thoughts.

Will I even have ever have my own future soulmate?

Sonic's Room.

———————————————————————

He shook his head aggressively at his own question, giving himself a smack in the face to make him snap out of it.

Why would I even think about that? That is way too dark for me to even comprehend!

Sonic let out a heavy sigh, throwing Shadow's birthday invitation to the side and pulling out his homework.

However, he felt too distracted by what his parents told him in the afternoon on Monday.

His dark form.. Manic.. it all seemed like so much.

Now he has to wait until he turns 16 to figure out more stuff? It felt like such a pain to have to wait that long.

The blue hedgehog shook his head once again.

Why am I even so worked up about this? I still have 6 years, I'm probably going to forget about it anyway.

He stood up from his bed and walked over to his desk, bringing his notebook and school folder along with him to work on schoolwork.

Still, despite telling himself that, he still can't help but wonder.

Will I ever see Manic again?
