*In the lunch room*

Amy and Blaze were both walking to the lunchroom together. They had both brought lunchboxes from home, and had already gotten them out of their locker.

"So, Blaze, uh..how are you so smart?"
Amy asked her while they walked to the cafeteria.

"Huh? Oh. Well I study and read a lot of books on each subject we have. And during summers and weekends, I would have to do paper work just so my mind doesn't forget anything."

"Oh wow, that must be very hard to do."

"It was at first. I even thought about giving up. But I kept pushing myself into becoming smart, and I succeeded! Life gives you obstacles that you have to dodge, and if you don't, you won't get anywhere."

The pink hedgehog was so fascinated by the purple cats work and effort. Amy has always looked up to Blaze for everything. She wanted to be just like her, smart, courageous, talented.

Blaze and Amy arrived at the cafeteria and Amy guided her to where she sat with Rouge and her other friend.

When they arrived at the table, Amy introduced her friends to Blaze who was standing next to her.

"Blaze, this is Rouge. And the one sitting next to her is Cream!"

"Nice to meet both of you, I am glad Amy let me sit with you guys." Blaze said waving, then her and Amy sat down and opened their lunch boxes.

"Nice to meet you!!" Cream said excitedly, "I am so happy we have a new friend!"

Rouge looked over at Blaze and asked, "Hey, aren't you that smart girl from Math class?"

"Oh, why yes, I am. I saw you get in trouble, why don't you just be a good kid for once? You might enjoy it!"

Rouge took a bite of her peanut butter and jelly sandwich, "Not a chance, being the good kid is too much work."

"It's okay Blaze, Cream and I have already tried getting her to stay out of trouble, but she just won't budge."

"And I never will budge. I like having my own rules and not listening to teachers, it is much for fun for me."

Amy started eating her pretzels, and asked her friends a question.

"What do y'all think of our coach?" Amy felt weird asking that question out of no where, but she wanted to make conversation.

"Well, I think he is alright." Cream said drinking her juice.

Rouge scoffed, "I hate him. He is more bossy than any other teacher we have, and he is always yelling at us everytime he wants us to do something. He could calm down a bit, it is not that hard."

"Well it is not that hard to be a good kid either." Blaze said to Rouge.

Rouge shrugged her shoulders and continued talking, "Besides, isn't he the dad of one of the people in the same grade as us?"

"Oh yeah, I think his name is Shadow?" Amy said tapping the side of her head.

"Yeah, that dude, man I hate him."

"Well a lot of people hate him, expect of his friends of course." Cream said while eating her goldfish.

Amy started laughing while saying, "You know Blaze, last year, Shadow actually had a crush on Rouge!"

"Hey! I thought we agreed we wouldn't bring that up to anybody!"

"I'm sorry, I just had to! Ahh, the good times."

"Well, Shadow may be a pain in the butt, but his friends aren't that bad." Blaze said zipping up her lunchbox.

"Well, his friends are alright." Cream said closing her container that had pretzels in it. "His friends, Knuckles and Silver, and actually not bad. Silver is probably the nicest out of all three of them."

"Yeah, I guess your right, Silver isn't like Knuckles and Shadow."

RING!! RING!! RING!!

"Well, that's the bell, see you guys later!" Amy said getting up.

"See you later as well!"
