𝓘 woke up to jack's warm breath against my chest, I took a second to admire his perfect face and body laying next to me. I gentily lift his arm off me and I get out of bed, I put my glasses back on and head to the kitchen. I make myself a coffee before heading into my living room to do my routine on the weekend. I put on gilmore girls, tuck myself under a warm blanket and look outside. the autumn leaves falling down and the stunning sunrise makes my heart feel warm, it reminds me of my hometown back in canada. almost four years ago me and meadow decided to completely start fresh, in a brand new city. we grew up in a small town in ontario, we actually lived right across the street from each other. I always knew that I didn't belong there, so did meadow.
I hear the sound of jack slowly waking up, I start to feel nervous although I don't know why. "morning!" I say with a smile, jack's hair is all messy but he still looks adorable. he smiles and takes a seat next to me. "gilmore girls, my family is obssesed with this show." jack says, he gets comfy beside me. he still manages to give me butterflies no matter what he does. "my mom has always been team dean, luke is team tristan, quinn is team logan and personally team jess all the way." my jaw dropped, I slapped his shoulder. "no way, same!" me laughs at my reaction.
for about a solid hour all we did was watch gilmore girls, it was strange how we had all these similarites. I look at my phone for the first time since last night, meadow had been texting me all night and morning but there was also a text from trevor.

I put my phone down and looked over at jack. "do you have any plans today?" I ask him. he looks over at me. "nope, what do you have in mind?" I smile and tell him about the plans and jack agrees. we both got up and walked back into the bedroom to get ready, jack didn't have any clothing to wear other than what he wore last night. I turned my straightener on then I started getting ready, I did my skin care and makeup then straightened my hair. I heard a soft knock on my bathroom door and jack walked in, he was wearing white joggers and a black Champion sweater. "nico said he could pick us up on the way to wherever we are going." jack said, turning on the sink to wash his hands. meadow told me she was going to surprise us with where we were going, but jack was paranoid about paparazzi seeing us so we had to be extra cautious. I couldn't help but think how my life has changed so much since those boys walked into starbucks, both good and bad. meadow told me they would pick us up at 12:30 and it was almost that time, we walked back into the living room and countinued to watch gilmore girls until they came. jack layed on my lap, tucked cozy under a warm blanket. I played with strands of his fluffy hair, twirling it around my fingers. I hear a loud car horn outside of the apartment, jack gets up and looks out the window. "they're here." jack says, he puts on his shoes and I grab my purse and we walk out the door. I could tell that jack wasn't much of a romantic, which I didn't mind. that's where him and trevor are incredibly different. trevor was flirty and a gentalmen unlike jack who was more gaurded and protective, which I'm sure is because of his ex. we get into the car and I can see the smirk on both of their faces, I give meadow a dirty look and she chuckles. "explain you two." nico says, making meadow laugh.
