the day i was both dreading and waiting for is finally here, the day we went home. it wasn't so bad knowing that when we wake up it'll be the best day of our lives,  the eras tour.  i guess its been a long time coming..

everyone had our stuff packed up and ready to go in the kitchen,  we all stood in the living room and said our goodbyes to the beach house.  it was the best days i've had in awhile, being with my friends and the beautiful country greece.  i didn't wanna leave,  i didn't wanna go back to work and see maddie.  if i could i wish i didn't have to ever see her again,  but i can't just quit work.  i wish i could,  i really did wanna take jack up on his offer of staying at home and him working,  but i really don't think thats fair.

"goodbye beach house,  we'll miss you." meadow says,  we all grabbed our suitcases. i took one final glance before walking out the door with the others.  our uber was parked outside the house waiting to take us to the airport.  i kept reminding myself that when we get home it'll be eras day!  but i still hated the long flight home to new york.

we arrive at the airport and ran out of the car as fast as we all could,  we were so close to missing our flight.  trevor kept annoyingly panicking about how "he cannot miss taylor and that i have to run faster" in which i told him to fuck off!

the moment i sat down on the plane i took a deep breath,  relaxing now that i know we've made it.  jack put our luggage in the storage department and took a seat beside me,  i sat at the window seat so that i can admire the sunset at night. "thank god we made it." jack says,  resting his head against the seat.  "only 48 more hours till taylor!" trevor says from behind us,  piping his head up from his seat.  "he might be the end of me." jack jokes,  i chuckle and rest my head against his shoulder.

after many long hours i finally arrived home,  everyone else was meeting us at the concert so it was just me and jack.  it felt weird being back in jersey after so long,  and with jack.  the moment i walked through the doors of jacks house i jumped on his bed and rested.  all i wanted to do was go to sleep after the long flight.   jack hopped in beside me,  wrapping his arms around me and closing his eyes.  i admired him sleeping,  the way his button nose twitches with each breath.

i woke up to the sound of banging coming from the front door,  jack and i both groan and look at each other confused. "go away." jack mumbles,  i chuckle and get up slowly walking to the front door.  i open it to see dawson and everleigh standing there,  i busrt out laughing at dawsons outfit.  he was wearing a huge mirrorball, dawson just stoof there with a straight face which made me laugh even harder.  "whats going on- oh hey dawson." jack says from behind me.  everleigh dressed as midnights wearing a sparkly blue dress.  "you better start getting ready,  i swear emma if you make me late-" dawson tries tosay before i cut him off. "dawson, shut up i'll hurry." i tell him, we all go back inside.

i quickly run over to the pile of clothing jack and i laid out on the bed,  i grabbed my outfit and ran into the bathroom.  i put on my cute pink dress with a sash that says 'miss americana'.  i plugged in my curling iron and started curling my hair as fast as i could.  i heard a knock and the bathroom door opened.  jack stood there with his stupid smirk,  he was wearing a pink button up shirt with black pants with a sash that says 'heartbreak prince' and a cute crown on his head.  "look who looks sexy in his eras tour outfit." i tell jack,  he walks up to me and kisses my cheek.  "dawson is getting more annoyed by the second baby." jack says ,  i roll my eyes.  "him and trevor will get along perfectly, both obsessed with taylor swift and the most annoying people i've ever met." i tell jack,  i quickly try to finish curling my hair. jack chuckles and presses a kiss to my forehead.
