these past days me and emma have grown even closer than before, we've spent our free time together and I loved it. being around her brings me so much joy and happiness and I think I might even lov- no not yet, I couldn't love her I promised myself not to fall in love.
I bought emma and meadow tickets to our game tonight, we both have been hesitant to be public since the photos of us have been uploaded. emma started reciving death-threats and hate comments about us and seeing her upset made me upset.

"hurry up bryant, were going to be late." I yell at her, waiting patintly at her front door. "shut up i'm coming!" she yells back from the bathroom, I let out a soft chuckle as she approches me. "you look very pretty." I smile at her, her face lights up as she smiles and a red tint flushes her cheeks. "why thank you jack." emma says, I lean down a kiss her soft lips before she pushes me away. "I thought we were going to be late, huh rowdy." the two of us both chuckle, I open the front door and we walk towards my car.
the car ride there she shuffles a playlist consisting of once again taylor swift, she first song to come on is 'back to december'. I have always loved that song, seeing emma laugh as she sings caused me to smile. she is the most perfect girl I've ever met, shes my girlfriend. everything about her I love, her smile, her lips, her laugh, her personality, her eyes, everything about this girl.
"and I think about summer, all the beautiful times." emma sings, swaying her body to the music. "I watched you laughing from the passenger side." I sing, It was like I was living this exact moment in the song. watching the most beautiful woman laughing and smiling, knowing she is my girl, all of her. "oh my god, jack! this is our song!" emma screeches, I burst out laughing. "sure bryant, back to december, taylors version of course, is our song!" I say looking over at her, her smile so bright just like mine. "you know you've got a smile that could light up this whole town." I tell her with a smirk, she throws her head back with laughter and slaps my hand.
I pull into the arena and find my parking spot, I quickly park the car before jumping out to open emma's door for her. she looks up and smiles as I open the passenger side door, I intertwine our fingers and walk towards the back enterance.
we were instantly greeted by arnold who noticed me approching and had already opended the door. "thanks." emma thanks him with a smile, he returns the smile before the two of us walk inside.
as we walk into the back lobby we spot meadow and nico in the corner of the room, meadow noticed us and waved us over. "hey babes!" meadow swings her arms around emma, she chuckles into her neck. "i missed you." emma says, pulling away from the hug. the two girls haven't hung out in ages since emma and I have spent most of our time together. "me too! tonight you're coming over." meadow says, she nods her head and presses a kiss to her forehead.

for the rest of the time before the game started we all hung around near the locker rooms before the boys had to get ready for the game. meadow and i went to the lobby and scanned our tickets before finding our seats.
our seats were right beside the bench so I have a perfect view of jack which I always love. the game hadn't started yet so me and meadow had time to catch up on life. "tell me about you and jack, you two are dating now!" meadow smiles, I let out a soft laugh. "honestly I haven't been this happy in a while." meadow nods her head. "i know babes, you finally found your person." she says, she grabs my hand bringing it to her lips and pressing a soft kiss.
but before our conversation could continue the sound of the loud horns went off meaning the boys were about to come on. quickly after one by one they all skated onto the ice, once I spotted jack and he spotted me he smiled then skated by.
the game was going great, the boys up by 3 in the third period. everything was going good for me too, I haven't been approched by any of jacks fangirls which was great. well until now.. I hear whispering and turn around to see a bunch of teenage girls taking pictures of me. "oh hi, your jack hughes girlfriend right." the brunette girl asked me, I nod my head before turning back around to watch the game.
"he could do better." another says before walking away, the others burst out laughing leaving me speechless. "excuse me!" I yell to the girls, I get no response from any of them. I try and get up out of my seat but got pulled by meadow, sitting me back down in my seat. "they're not worth it, they are just jealous jack wants you." what meadow said was true, I knew those girls were jealous but it still bugged me. "I know."

the devils ended up winning 4-1, jack scored three out of the four goals and he played amazing. meadow and I made our way to the locker room to meet up with the boys, we planned to head to the bar afterwards which is always fun.
after waiting for a couple of minutes jack and nico came walking out with bright smiles on their faces. meadow ran over to nico and gave him a massive hug, he dropped his bags and spun her around. jack looked over at them before dropping his bag and running over to me, he picked me up and spun me around just like nico did to meadow. "jack!" I chuckled, I wrap my legs around his waist and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "you played so good baby." I mumble into his ear. "oh yeah, well I'm happy you came again." he says, before his lips crash into mine once again.
