[dating for three years]
time has been flying by, emma and i have been dating for three years. we moved in together two years ago and have been spending every second with each other. em quit modeling, i could tell she wasn't enjoying it. she has been coming to every game of mine, we travel and spend time with our families. emma and luke got extremly close ever since they first met, luke considers emma his older sister which i got to admit is kinda sweet.
these past summer we spent at the house in greece, all our friends, my brothers and dawson all came again this year. emma and i wanna buy our own beach house one day with meadow and nico, but for right now we are still renting this one for this summer.
these three years spent with emma has brought me nothing but happiness, i wanna spend the rest of my life with her. i've talked it over with all my friends and family, i told them i wanna marry emma. i want to start a family with her, grow old with her. i bought the ring already, but i still haven't talked to her dad. i'm nervous for what he'll say, shes his little girl and what if he doesn't think i'm the right person for her. thats why i pushed off calling him until today.
i typed his number in and dialed him. my heart started beating faster and faster with each second that went by then he picked up. "jack! hey whats up." micheal said through the phone, i took a deep breath. "i just needed to ask you something, its pretty important." i told him. "okay." he says, i take one final deep breath in before speaking. "mike, i love your daughter. i've never loved something as strongly as i do for emma. she makes me feel like the luckiest man each day, i wanna spend the rest of my life with her. so mike, do i have your blessing to have daughter for the rest of my life? i ask him, i heard chuckling coming from the other line. "jack of course you have my blessing, you treat my daughter better than anyone has before." he says, i felt relieved hearing the words come out. "thank you so much mike." i say before hanging up the phone. right after i hang up the phone, i hear my front door open which meant emma must be home. "baby i'm home!" she yells from the kitchen, i run to greet her. "hi bryant." i say, kissing her lips. "we've got plans tonight by the way, and meadow is going topick you up right about- now" i tell her, the front door swings open and meadow stands there. "right on time." she jokes, emma hugs her and stares at me confused. "what is going on?" she asks me with a smile. "you'll see later now have fun!" i yell, meadow drags her out the door.
i had this day planned out for awhile now, meadow and i planned it out. tonight is the night i'm asking emma to marry me, its all planned. while emma is out with meadow, all of our friends and i are setting up a surprise at the beach. i planned a cute dinner on the beach with all of our friends, when emma and meadow walk down the beach she'll see a massive light up sign that says "marry me" with a huge flower heart.
i got to the beach around six, so that when meadow and emma come it should be sunset. the set up didn't take very long, i hired a planner to plan this for us which made it so much more easier. the setup was perfect, the ocean behind us with all the decor is amazing. i had the run in my pocket ready to go. i wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath, i told meadow told blindfold emma and make sure shes dressed up. we planned for emma to come down to the beach around 6:15, trevor, cole, luke, quinn, dawson, isabella and bella all stood there with me waiting for her.
right on time i saw meadow guiding emma down the beach, emma was wearing a white dress with a blindfold on. "okay what is happening meads?" emma asks, meadow smiles and pulls out her phone to record. the moment i've wanted forever was happening, i got down of one knee holding the box with her ring in my hand. meadow takes off emmas blindfold slowly, emma opens her eyes and her jaw drops. emma covers her mouth staring at me. "oh my gosh!" she screeches, tears started falling from both of our eyes and same with meadow. "emma adaline bryant, will you marry me?" i ask her, her hands shake and shes nods her head. "yes!" she says, i grab her hand slowly sliding the dimond ring on her ring finger. "i love you!" she says, hugging me tightly. "i love you too."
hey luvss, i haven't been uploading at all and im sorry. also these chapter will be short because really i just want this book to be over, its so hard to write now so i hope you enjoyed this. i think i'll do an instagram chapter, then there will only be maybe two more chapters left ugh i know. there wedding and kids! anyways happy reading muah xoxox tae
