Chapter 5: Just One Day

Jungkook woke up early the next morning. He was excited about the Art Center project. He looked over the folder that Jin gave him for the thousandth time, almost memorizing even the most minute details. He finally got out of his room and went to get Tahee ready. As usual, Tahee was sleeping cutely clutching onto his favorite teddy bear. "Wake up Tahee!," Jungkook whispered while giving him a peck on his forehead, "Don't you want to meet Minji and Bambam?" Tahee slowly opened his eyes and smiled at Jungkook. "Kookie!" he said, stifling a yawn while trying to sit up in his bed. Jungkook picked him up and took him into the restroom to get him ready. After Tahee was ready and dressed, Jungkook asked him to go to the dining table while he got ready himself. He went to his closet and picked out a suit thinking, 'I'm wearing this after such a long time.' Meanwhile, Jin and Joon were getting ready for the day as well. Both of them were looking forward to seeing Jungkook back in the office.

"Good morning baby!" Joon wished as he walked to the dining table. Tahee ran over to him and gave him a big hug. "Good morning, Dada!" Tahee wished as he kissed Joon's dimpled cheeks. "All ready for kindergarten baby?" Jin asked as he walked over to Joon. "Yes! Appa!" Tahee exclaimed as he reached for Jin's face, "Ok baby! Let's eat our breakfast quickly! Come!" Joon placed Tahee in a chair and served him his breakfast while Jin started feeding Tahee. "Good Morning Jin hyung and Joon hyung!" Jungkook said as he quickly made his way to the table. "Kookie! You're looking handsome like Appa and Dada!" Tahee cheered seeing Jungkook. "Thank you, Baby!" Jungkook said as he ruffled Tahee's hair before taking a seat at the table.  After breakfast, Jungkook dropped off Tahee and then headed to the Foundation office.

"Surprise!" Taehyung yelled as Jimin opened the door to his apartment. Jimin looked at Taehyung in shock, unable to process what he was seeing. He looked around and saw Yoongi standing just out of sight, holding on to Taehyung's suitcases. "I'm back for good Jiminie!" Taehyung said while shaking his friend's shoulders. Jimin quietly moved out of the way and motioned for Taehyung and Yoongi to come in. After he closed the door, he looked at Taehyung and muttered, "I hate surprises Tae, especially this early in the morning. You know that!" "Jiminshi! I'm sorry!" Tae said with a mischievous grin, "Actually, I'm not sorry! I wanted to surprise you! Thanks Yoongi hyung!" Yoongi moved away from Tae quickly not wanting to get scolded by his irritated boyfriend. "I can't believe that you two planned all of this behind my back!" Jimin exclaimed, pretending to be angry when in fact he was bursting with excitement seeing his best friend after ages. "You're finally back! I can't believe that you're finally back!" Jimin said while hugging his best friend.

"Are you still mad at me?" Yoongi finally asked, seeing the best friends hugging. Jimin let go of Tae and immediately hugged Yoongi saying, "Thank you for bringing back my baby bear!" Yoongi watched as the two friends sat on the couch catching up with each other and finally noticed the time, "It's time for me to head out, you two catch up. Oh and before I forget, Jiminah, please let Jin hyung know about the dates for the trip to Busan." "Ok," Jimin said while walking Yoongi to the door, "And you have a safe trip to Tokyo." He gave Yoongi another hug and peck on his lips before he closed the door. "You're going to Busan?" Tae asked while looking for something to eat. "Yes, but since you're here, you should come too!" Jimin said with excitement, "Actually, I have to go to the Foundation office today. Why don't you come along?" Tae agreed and then both friends went to freshen up before heading to the office.

"Tell me more about this Busan Trip," Tae asked while Jimin was driving. "So Jin hyung's Foundation is going to be starting an Art Center in Busan in honor of Kook's mother. Yoongi hyung has a warehouse in Busan that can be converted into the Art Center. Jin hyung wants Kook and I to go to the warehouse and check it out." "Who's Kook?" Tae asked. "Kim Jungkook or Kook as we call him. He is Joon hyung's brother-in-law. He grew up in Busan and lost his parents in an accident. He's always wanted to start a Music school in Busan," Jimin explained. "Oh I see. It's really nice of Jin hyung to do something like this for Jungkook," Tae remarked, "I also just realized that I'll finally be meeting your Jin hyung, Joon hyung, Hobi hyung and Jungkook in person after hearing so much about them all these years." "They'll love you," Jimin said. "I know!" Tae confidently replied.
