Chapter 28: Closer to You

"Did Jin hyung need something?" Tae asked as he sat up in bed. "Yeah," Jungkook replied as he sent a message to Jimin, "He wants to have a virtual meeting at 11 to talk about the progress. I just messaged Chim hyung to meet us here around 10." He put his phone away and made his way to the bathroom. He got a bath started before he made his way back to Tae. "I'm getting the bathtub ready for you, just give me a few minutes," he said to Tae as he caressed his chin and sat by him on the bed. "How do you feel?" Jungkook asked, peering intently at Tae. He desperately wondered if Tae felt just as much pleasure as he had. Tae understood what Jungkook was trying to ask him. He pulled him into a hug, snuggling into his neck and whispered, "After what we just did, I am helplessly addicted to you. I can think of nothing else apart from you and your touch."

Jungkook held Tae tighter, taking in the scent of Tae's shampoo, before he finally pulled out of the hug. He stepped back into the bathroom to keep everything ready for Tae. "Do you need help to get in here?" he asked from the bathroom. "Not really," Tae answered as he got off the bed, pulling on his pajama pants and made his way to the bathroom. "Kookie, it smells amazing in here," he commented, deeply breathing in the floral scent in the bathroom. "I hope you don't mind," Jungkook mumbled, stepping away from the bathtub, "This is the only body wash that I packed." Tae smiled as he walked up to Jungkook and kissed him on his cheek, "It's perfect, Kookie." Just as Jungkook was about to leave the bathroom, Tae held on to his arm saying, "Stay." Tae took off his pants and stepped into the bathtub. "The temperature is perfect, Kookie," Tae sighed as he sank into the water.

"Are you going to join me?" Tae asked coyly, staring at Jungkook. "If I get in, I will not be able to separate myself from you," Jungkook replied, leaning in to place a kiss on Tae's forehead, "I am just as addicted as you are Tae hyungie." Jungkook watched as color bloomed on Tae's cheeks. "Jungkook 2, Tae hyungie 0," he smirked as he stepped out of the bathroom. He pulled out his laptop and started working on a presentation for the meeting. By the time Tae stepped out of the bathroom, looking absolutely beautiful in the outfit Jungkook had laid out for him, Jungkook had completed the first draft of the presentation. There was a knock on the door and soon Jimin joined them in their room. "Wow!" Jimin exclaimed as soon as he walked in, taking in the sight of the messy bed, a shirtless Jungkook and a freshly bathed Tae, "You two must have ravenous appetites!" "Jiminie!" Tae yelled while Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle.

"Chim hyung, Jin hyung wants a virtual meeting at 11. Can you and Tae hyungie go over this presentation while I shower and get ready?" Jungkook said after clearing his throat, redirecting Jimin's attention to the task at hand. "Sure Kook," Jimin agreed, snickering, "Way to change the subject. Tae Bear, can you please order some food from room service and perhaps get the sheets changed as well?! I can only guess what's on those sheets..." Tae turned red in the face before picking up the phone to call the front desk. Jungkook giggled as he rushed into the bathroom. Jimin couldn't stop staring at Tae when he joined him on the couch. "What?" Tae asked, annoyed, "Why are you staring at me?" "The way you look at him. The way you act around him. Sooner or later, you're going to ask him to marry you, aren't you?" Jimin wondered out loud, "That's where this is going, right?"

"Yes Jiminie, that is what I want from this relationship," Tae agreed, "But first, I want to make sure Kookie feels the same way too. I don't want to rush him into marriage." Jimin beamed. "Tae Bear, I can't wait. You two are so perfect together already," Jimin sighed, "You're only going to get more annoyingly amazing." Tae laughed. "Just so you know, these walls aren't as thick as you'd expect them to be," Jimin revealed slyly, "I wasn't going to say anything but I was a bit worried for you this morning. Whatever you two did sounded pretty intense..." Tae looked over at his friend with absolute horror before utter embarrassment colored his features much to Jimin's amusement. "Shit Jimine!" Tae groaned, "You should have told me earlier!" "And lose the golden opportunity to embarrass you?" Jimin retorted with a chuckle, "Never!"
