Chapter 33: Never Let Go

"It'll get better once we're back home, Jinnie," Joon said, hoping to soothe Jin's nerves, "We'll slowly ease him into the idea. Besides, let him spend some more time with Kook and Tae." "You're right, Joonie," Jin sighed, "He needs to start getting used to seeing Kook and Tae together." "Who needs to get used to seeing Kook and Tae Bear together?" Jimin asked, walking up to Jin and Joon hand in hand with Yoongi. Jin told Jimin and Yoongi about Tahee overhearing his conversation with Joon and Tahee's subsequent tantrum. "I'm worried that once Kook moves out, Tahee's going to have a very hard time adjusting," he lamented. "Wait a minute," Yoongi interjected, "Kook is already moving in with Tae? That was fast." "No Yoongi hyung," Joon corrected, "He's not moving out anytime soon. But it will happen, eventually. We just want to prepared."

"So why are you so worried about it now?" Jimin questioned, "I know Tahee is very attached to Kook, but give him some time to get to know Tae. I'm sure that it will be hard at first but I'm sure neither Tae nor Kook will  want to stay away from him for too long. Tae loves kids and I knew he has a special place in his heart for Tahee." "You're right Chim," Jin conceded, "I was just very worried about what happened today. And speaking of the little monster, there he is." All of them turned to see Tae, Jungkook and Tahee make their way towards them. "Tahee baby, you look like a koala clinging on to Kook," Joon remarked while smiling, "Come on, get down. Let's walk to our car." "Go on baby," Jungkook encouraged, attempting to put his down, "We'll meet again at the restaurant." Tae noticed how reluctant Tahee seemed to get out of Jungkook's arms. "Hyung, we can bring Tahee to the restaurant, if you don't mind," he suggested.

"We don't mind at all but his car seat is in our car," Jin replied before Joon could. "How about we switch cars then?" Tae suggested. "That would work," Joon replied after giving Tae's suggestion a thought, "Is that okay with you Kook?" "That's fine with me Joon hyung," Jungkook replied, "That way I get more time with my Tahee." "More like we get more time with our Tahee," Tae corrected, exchanging car keys with Joon, "You excited to ride with us, Tahee?" "Uh huh!" Tahee exclaimed, "Yay! I get to ride with Kookie and Taehyungie!" "Don't expect this to happen all the time Tahee," Jin warned, "Now you be a good boy and don't trouble your Kookie and Taehyungie too much, okay?" "Okay, Appa," Tahee solemnly replied. "All right everyone," Jungkook said, "Let's all meet at the restaurant I just sent in the group chat. It should take us about 30 minutes to get there and then we'll head to the Busan Tower." All the couples headed to their respective cars and made their way to the restaurant. Little did they know that they were all being watched.

"I see him, Sir," said the man dressed in all black, watching from his sedan, "He's with Kim Taehyung and Kim Tahee. They are riding in the same car." "Well, that's interesting," came the reply from his phone, "Just keep an eye on them. Do not act. Do not make contact. I want to be informed of all his movements." "Yes Sir," the man in black replied before hanging up and following from a safe distance. He watched as all the couples parked and walked into the restaurant. He pulled out his camera with the special zoom lenses and started snapping photographs of the group. He paid special attention to Jungkook and Tae. "They're going to a restaurant. They'll be out for a while," he said to his counterpart waiting at the hotel, "Put the trackers now. If you see any laptops, put in the virus as well." "Got it, Alpha," came the reply, "I'll text when I'm done." "You'll get your payment after I verify," Alpha replied.

Jungkook led the group to a beloved seafood restaurant known for their Ganjang Gejang (soy sauce marinated crabs), Yangnyum Gejang (spicy marinated crabs) and Bokguk (pufferfish stew). Everyone was excited to try the famed seafood specialties of Busan. When the food came out, Jungkook made sure to instruct the group about how to eat the crab. He demonstrated how to eat the meat and mix in the rice. "Oh my God! Kook!" Jimin exclaimed, "I don't normally like seafood but this is delicious! It is so fresh and the taste is so sweet!" "I agree," Joon added, "I've had Ganjang Gejang before but this is amazing!" "The Yangnyum Gejang has just the right amount of spice," Jin stated, licking his lips, "I can't stop myself!" "I'm glad you all like the food!" Jungkook said, taking in the various looks of contentment, "Baby, do you like the stew?" "Yes Kookie!" Tahee exclaimed, "It's yummy!"
