Chapter 8: Zero O'Clock

"Wake up, sleepy head!" Jimin cooed as he brushed Tae's hair from his forehead. "Hmmmm," Tae managed to utter as he tried to open his eyes. Jimin walked up to the windows and opened up the drapes letting in the morning sun. "It's already so bright," Tae whispered shielding his eyes, "What time is it?" "Time for you to get ready," Jimin countered while making his way to the door, "Get up and get ready. I'll go make breakfast." "I feel like I just fell asleep," Tae whined as he slowly got up and made his way to the bathroom. Tae brushed his teeth and quickly took a shower. He went over to his suitcase, picked out a casual tan trouser, a cream half sleeve shirt and a light sweater and got dressed. "Something smells really good, Jiminie," Tae yelled as he made his way to the kitchen. "Here you go," Jimin said as he set a plate of freshly made food in front of Tae, "I'll go get ready and then we can leave for the office."

"Tahee, wake up baby," Jin whispered as he caressed his son's cheeks. "Appa," Tahee mumbled as he slowly opened his eyes, "Good morning." "Good morning Baby, let's go to the bathroom and get ready," Jin said as he carefully picked up Tahee from his bed. Just as Jin was done helping Tahee brush his teeth and shower, Joon came into the room. "Good morning baby," Joon said as he walked into the room. "Good morning, Dada," Tahee said as he ran towards Joon outstretched arms. Joon picked him up and kissed his forehead. "I'll get him dressed, Jinnie," Joon offered, "Why don't you go get ready? Is Kook up?" "Thank you Joonie," Jin said smiling at his husband, "I'll go check on Kook." Jin walked towards Jungkook's room and knocked on the door before slowly opening it.

Jin saw that Jungkook was still sleeping. He slowly walked up to Jungkook's side of the bed and sat there watching him. 'He's finally sleeping so soundly. His sadness is slowly disappearing,' Jin thought to himself. Slowly he extended his hand and gently rocked Jungkook's elbow saying, "Wake up Kook. It's 7 am already." Jungkook slowly shifted before he sat up with a start, "Oh no! I need to get Tahee ready!" he exclaimed. "Calm down Kook! Joon is getting him ready. Let us also take care of Tahee once in a while!" Jin reassured, "It's ok to sleep in. Go get ready and meet us for breakfast." "Ok. Thank you Jin hyung," Jungkook said before making his way to his bathroom. Jin made his way to his room and started getting ready himself.

Jin, Joon, Jungkook and Tahee quickly finished their breakfast. "Oh before I forget, Kook, don't worry about picking up Tahee today," Jin said as he got up from the table, "I have a short day today so I will pick him up." "Oh ok," Jungkook said smiling at Tahee, "I'll see you in the evening Baby." "Have a good day Kookie!" Tahee said as he ran towards the front door with Jungkook following closely. "Since when do you have a short day?" Joon questioned Jin when Jungkook was out of earshot. "I don't have any meetings this afternoon so I thought of picking up our son," Jin answered, trying to look innocent. "I get it," Joon slowly realized, "You want to make sure that Kook and Tae spend time together this afternoon." "What?" Jin pretended to look shocked, "Is that so?" Joon smiled at his husband as he engulfed him in a hug whispering just for him to hear, "You are something else!"

Jin and Joon dropped off Tahee at his kindergarten and then headed to the office. Jungkook had gotten to the office earlier and stopped at the coffee shop in the lobby to pick up 2 iced Americanos before making his way to Hobi's office. Seeing Jungkook try to balance the files and the drinks as he stepped out of the elevator, Yeonjun ran and opened the door to Hobi's office. "Good Morning Kook!" Hobi greeted as he walked in, "Here let me help you with that." Hobi grabbed the drinks from Jungkook and placed them on the coffee table by the couch. "Are Chim hyung and Tae hyung here?" he asked. "Not yet. They're on their way," Hobi answered, "In the meanwhile, let me go over all the details about the banquet." Just then Yeonjun came in and handed some files to Hobi, "Here are all the files about the banquet. I've emailed all of your media contacts and included you and Jungkook in the emails. Since there isn't much time, I sent out electronic invites. I've also compiled a list of local artists in Busan who are interested in participating in the silent auction."
