Anakin had been pushing himself further and further into training. He had shown Kodo, how to hide in one yellow eye from people. However, Anakin started to notice a change in Omega as he continued to train. Omega for the most part had been his usual self. He would be mysterious, confusing, and also insane. One thing was different though. It was like he was holding something back from Anakin, and Anakin hated that. "Is there something you want to tell me, or are you just gonna sit there and stay all mysterious." Omega tilted his head up to look Anakin in the eye. "Just something on my mind, nothing you need to worry about." Anakin put his lightsaber back on his belt. "But, I do worry. Omega, stop keeping secrets from me. Don't be like the Jedi and the Sith, talk to me." Anakin was staring straight into Omega's faceless hood. "Fine. I was thinking about the holocron." "What about the holocron?" Omega leaned forward. "If you destroy it, then I am free." Omega put up a hand to stop Anakin's outburst. "I will be free but I will be weak for some time. You would have to wait for me to recover." "How long would that take?" Omega rubbed his faceless chin. "A few months at least." Anakin looked down debating his options. When he looked up, Omega knew his decision. The holocron shattered and Anakin was blinded.
When he looked up, he saw Omega, without the hood. He was still in his robes but his face was now showing. The man had a boyish look to him. He had long brown hair that curled slightly at the top. His hair was long and slicked back, looking like a shorter version of Anakin's old haircut. His happened to be shorter in the back and on top. He opened his eyes slightly. "Chosen one." That was all he said before his eyes shut again. Anakin was shocked to hear his real voice, but pushed it back.
He picked up Omega and ran up the steps, out of the dungeons. Anakin quickly made his way to the healers. He was shouting loudly at everyone to help and watched as they rushed to help their king's friend.
Anakin had only left the healers to eat before heading back to the healers. He didn't need to listen to the rules of visiting. He was was the king of the planet and his word was law. His mother walked in on him later that night.
Shmi walked up to Anakin and pulled him into a warm embrace. "You need to sleep Ani. You do no one good by not sleeping, not even yourself." Anakin didn't have any energy to argue. Even though he was taller than his mother, he always felt small around her. He let her guide him into his room and wished him goodnight with a kiss on his cheek.
For the next few months, Anakin's days were very slow. He had to train with no guidance and struggled without Omega. He kept on visiting Omega and would tell him about what he was trying to do with Tatooine. The pressure from the Separatists and Republic was getting stronger. Both sides wanted Tatooine as their little play thing. They also wanted the hyperspace routes, however Anakin wouldn't give those up. Anakin safely hid them in a secret safe under the dungeon floor. There was no blueprint of this safe anywhere. Some days he wouldn't sleep and barley eat or drink.
One night Anakin was sitting in the healers room. The second clock hit midnight on the 84th day of Omega being asleep, he woke up.
Anakin slowly looked up to see Omega. He was in a blue healing gown and looked right at Anakin. "You look like shit, Anakin." Anakin simply smiled and let out a light chuckle. "You don't look so good yourself. Feels weird hearing you without that deep and mysterious voice." Omega grinned. "So what have you been up to while I've been out." "I've just been trying to keep up with training and deal with Tatooine, the Republic, and the Separatists." Omega shook his head. "Politics." He muttered. "I was always better with a lightsaber and the force than with my words." Anakin grinned. "I had the same problem until recently. My mother had to help me a lot." Omega began to look around taking in all of his sights before standing up with no problem. "Im all for talking but, do you have any clothes?" "Yeah we do. Come on, I'll get you all set up."
Anakin showed Omega where he would stay and got him spare clothes and battle armor. Omega wore a simple black outfit that looked similar to Sith robes. The only difference was the outfit had no clear connection to the Sith. Omega planted his lightsaber inside of his new robes and cleaned himself up. "Tell me Omega, what is your real name." Omega turned around and faced away from the mirror. "Thomas. Thomas Syko. I come from the planet of Mustafar. When I lived there, we didn't have much. I wonder if it's still the way I remember it." Anakin had always been curious about Omega's origin. Now he was even more interested in his past. "If you mean it's covered in lava and molten rock then yeah it's how you remember it." Omega frowned. "No that's not how I remember it. I remember it being green and filled with life." Anakin stood up and patted him on the shoulder. "Well it's not that way anymore." Anakin walked out leaving Omega to deal with this newfound pain of his home world being a rock of death and suffering.
Omega noticed a holopad on the bed and immediately turned it on. He needed to know what was happening in the Galaxy. He needed to know what happened to all the planets, governments, who was in the Jedi Order, who were the most important figures, and he needed to learn how to live like the rest of the Galaxy.
To say Ahsoka Skywalker was frustrated and confused, would be an understatement. She had been trying to figure out who the man Anakin had been visiting constantly was. The frustrating part was that she couldn't find any records of him anywhere. She had no name, a face and no dna. She had nothing and was only getting more frustrated as time when on. When Ahsoka noticed that Anakin was walking around with that man, she immediately waited until she could speak to him.
Ahsoka had tried to find him in the force but couldn't. This person was completely gone in the force. She searched through the castle before finding him inside a bedroom with a holopad on his lap. He kept muttering things that she could not make out. She watched as he moved the holopad off his lap and looked straight at her. "Ahsoka Tano. Or should I say Ahsoka Skywalker?" Ahsoka crossed her arms in front of her. "Ahsoka Skywalker is preferred. You may know me but I don't exactly know who you are." Omega stood up and offered his hand out to her. "Thomas Syko of Mustafar." Ahsoka shook his hand. She was getting somewhere. "What does a guy from Mustafar want with Anakin Skywalker?" "Is friendship not good enough for you?" Ahsoka frowned. "No it's not. If you even think about hurting him, you won't get close to doing it." Omega smirked. "Oh trust me princess, I already know." All of sudden the lights went out. When they came back a second later, Thomas was gone.
