Kevin Pov:

That day I woked up in my bed, with a terrible headache. I couldn't remeber anything from last night. I was thirsty, so I went down to the kitchen. The sun was already really bright.

That's when I had a strange, cold feeling. Whenever I stood closer to the kitchen window. I tried to ignore it, but it was disturbing me so much.

I thought I got drunk in the night before, because the mind fog was just absurd. What happened to me? I didn't remeber drinking anything.

I saw something in the window. I took some steps closer to it, it was blue, fuzzy, and cold. I couldn't see exactly what it was, so, it disapeared. How weird. I felt that cold sensation literally passing through me.

I went to work, trying not to think about it, when I came back it was already dawn. I got home a bit later than usual that day. Well, I kept doing my stuff, when I started to hear laughs.

But my neighboors were traveling. I was the only one home. The laughs, who is laughing?

I am not so patient with stuff, you know. So I yelled:

--- Who is laughin-

I swalloed the rest of my sentence. Something inside me told me to keep my mouth shut.

Then I saw her, right in front of me.

Ethereal, to say the least.

It was all cold around her, and she was creeply mesmerizing.

She leaned closer to me and said:
---Greetings, Kevin!

--- How do you know my name??

What in earth was that? This weird women at my house, talking to me as if she knew me!

I asked:

--- Who are you??

--- Adelaide. Adelaide McCarthy is the name.

After she spoke, she took a fan out of her hair bun, making her hair down. She held the fan opened close to her mouth, while she chuckled. That name was familiar, and I couldn't stop looking at that fan. It was so ornamented, looked like a gift.

--- Have we already met before, Miss? Can I help you with something?

I asked, trying to stay calm. She nodded and walked into the door direction, saying ''Follow me'' silently, only with her lips.

I stood still.

Then I remebered. That ghost! I would never follow that freak ghost.

Well, I was already following. My legs worked faster then my brain.

It was just like if she had put a spell on me, I just followed, her and her wide blue eyes, her lifeless skin. I was stuck, glued at it. The only option that remained to me was to follow. I wanted to know who she was, and a way to get rid of her. Maybe following her could help.

I only saw her back all the way, her blond waves and long dress dancing with the wind and the rain, as I walked into the mug and dirt. The place was behind my mansion. I started to see some graves in that yard. Wait, was it what I was thinking it is? Since when I have a literal cemetery in my yard?

I guess I don't  walk around that much, huh.

She went to the last grave in that old cemetery, and sat in the tombstone.

But it wasn't her name that was craved there.

It said ''Edmund McCarthy''

I looked at her, confused.

She smiled at me.
