Kevin's POV:

--- Dude, why did you take so long?! I'm with the good joystick already!

--- I bet you are.

--- But are you alright? Oh, and who is she?

She made herself looking to them, too. To be honest, I didn't know exactly how it worked, if she just chose who to appear and when.

--- She's a friend of mine, Ada.

--- Hello! Can I join you guys?

--- I forgot to tell her I had a gathering today and..I was going to ask if she can join us. She's a great fella. The best one.

She smiled.

Cole called Carlo. Carlo greeted Adelaide and said:

--- The more the best! Join in!

We got inside of the house.

--- Let her play in yours, Cole, we don't have enough joysticks.

--- Nah, there's no need to, I'm fine.

But then she noticed.

--- Actually, alright, I can play with him.

Did she know how to play videogames?

--- Wanna start?

--- Naah, it's alright, you can start it!

She was nervous. It was weird hear her saying "Naaaah".

She smiled nervously.

--- I don't really like..uhm..games. It's just it.

She looked after me for approval.

I nodded at her.

Apparently she didn't know how to play. Which made sense.

The Miller's brothers coudln't care less about Ada's inability with technology.

Carlo went to the kitchen to make us some popcorn, we would watch a movie next.

--- So..it's Cole, right?

Cole did not looked at her while he answered, playing:

--- Yup. And you, whatcha name?

She looked him in his eyes:

--- Adelaide.

--- Adelaide?

There was something in the way he said her name.

--- Yes, Adelaide!

He frowned, then he shrugged his shoulders.

--- An interesting name.

Her large smile faded slowly. Mine too, was I smiling? We both noticed, as we both noticed it fade away too.

How would we make it come back?

--- Heya, do you guys prefer chocolate or just butter upon them??

--- Both works for me, thanks, Carlo.

--- How aboutcha, Ada?

--- Same, same. Both are nice!

--- Alright, then.

He went back to the kitchen.

--- So... Tell me more about you, Cole!

He looked at her, oddly enough.

--- Why you wanna know so much, huh?!

--- Calm down, I'm just trying to make new friends.

--- I know I just... I.. Don't know what happened to me. I'm sorry.

She raised an eyebrow at me. Our Cole boy was not okay, for sure.

--- You mad at me?

--- How? I don't even know you! Yet.. That's not an excuse to be a jerk though. Sorry, again.

She looked at me, concerned. I smiled warmly. And said silently "keep trying"

Then, she let her earring fall upon him. He caught it for her.

Obviously, he couldn't hand it back to her. His eyes met hers.

That was weird. He only said sorry, again.

Carlo came back, Ada frowned, sad. We needed a plan. Was he really Edmund, in the end of the day?
I caught myself admiring how fast and relatively nice she got our standart speaking-way. I was going to ask her when I remembered the answer:

"Lots pf owners passed throughmy mansion. My favorites were in the 1920's. I loved the girls's style. I heard them, learned about the word and how they spoke about it. Then, only in the 80's I started to look after a human being to avenge me. That's when I was sure Ed wasn't around anymore. I started to look after him, and the human to help. I gave up. I met you in the mid 90's. Found about Cole in with me, some time ago. The plan was settled." Crazy, right?" Learned it from the 70's owners, haha.
