Kevin's POV

--- Hi dude, thanks for coming!
--- How could I decline such an invite, huh?
I hugged Carlo, and he let me in.
The mansion was looked like mine, somehow. Big, full of memories, corridors. Old.
I needed to talk to Adelaide, and quickly. But I couldn't.

--- Hello Miss Miller, how are you?

His mother kissed me in the cheeks.

--- Oh, aren't you a sweetheart? Thanks for coming, dear, I hope you enjoy my cooking!

I nodded.

--- Oh, and see if it isn't Cole, hello little man!
--- Oh, I'm seventeen but, hello, Kevin. I heard you're a good friend of my brother, right? Hope you guys have a good time together here today.

The table was large, but where was their dad? A great amount of missing seats, I wondered how many vingative ghosts could be sat there, eating with us. Waiting for one of them to notice. Waiting to use them for their greater purposes.

Use them to get their revenge.
But I didn't see any.

The food was warm, we talked a lot. I ate a small plate, getting to know Cole better.
Then I thanked them after finished, and said I needed a break. I took a cigarrete out of my pocket, ready to light it.

--- I will be right back, Carlo, so we can play in the living room. Call Cole to join us, I bet he likes video games.

--- Alright, dude, don't worry, we will be waiting for you. Hurry, or you will end up having to play with the broken joystick.

I chuckled.

--- I won't have to, If I get there before you, you will be the one who will have to use it.

--- No I won't.

--- If you say so.

Laughs.

With these, I got out the house.

I kept the cigarrete in my hands, without lightening it.
I wondered if she just appears out of nowhere if you calls her name

It doesn't hurt to try, right?
