1. Sab Kehte Hai, Sach Kehte Hai?

Sab kehte hai, tu mere layak nhi...
Har waqt, tere paas shikayat nayi.
Jo baat kare tu, nahi lagta itna apna;
Tu sach hai ya jhuth, ya koi sapna?
Meri sacchai na ban saka tu,
Hamrahi na ban saka tu.
Ho sakti thi hamare paas bhi koi shikayat nayi,
Sab kehte hai, tu mere layak nhi...

Tera intezaar me hi karti hu;
In ankho me hamesha tere liye aansu bharti hu.
Tu janta bhi nahi, ki tere liye me kitna tadapti hu...?
Jis din na mile tu, apne aap se bichadti hu.
Fir bhi tere paas hoti hai koi shikayat nayi;
Sab kehte hai, tu mere layak nahi...

Ho shaam ya subah mere lab par ho zikr tera;
Khushi ho ya gum, jo bhi hai, sab hai tujhse juda.
Khud ko kho chuki hu, lagta sabko yahi hai;
Logo ne kaha, ise chhudao, ye purani aadat wahi.
Sab kehte hai, tu mere layak nhi...

𑁍 Have you ever had someone in your life about whom your close people would say, "He/She doesn't deserve you at all"?

𑁍 If yes, what did you say to them? Did your explanation align with your own feelings internally?

Human emotions can be subtle and yet complex, right?

This is the poem that expresses the feelings of a person who explains- or perhaps over explains- maybe overthinks too... sometimes.
Aren't we all like that? In love...?
