"The sky is dark and it's thundering" was what I said,
I couldn't look into your eyes
So my heart sank deep as well..
I fidgeted around unknown to the fact,
That even when I remain silent you can hear me all too well...
The day my heart was trembling,
Became the day I found your embrace...

"The sun will shine again and till that happens you can find space in my embrace" Your words were so warm.. that it only brought us closer,
that day even the cold in my heart escaped..
I escape reality by leaving my heart-unfold,
Your smile is evident to make it all go...

My sunsets, my night all try to define me,
The wounds untouched for years always try to hide "me"
The touch of yours brings the sense of comfort,
And then all my shadows came out in front...

You bring me in the rain with your fingers entwined with mine,
My heart skips a beat as now I look into your eyes..
"Glimmering" is what they say your eyes look like,
But "sparkling" is the only way I would define...

The rain droplets touched my skin,
it was cold so I only leaned in..
Your arms around gave me the warmth,
My wounds simply now get adorned..
Now I can hear your heart-beat,
And as I listen to it..
I find my boundaries opening up
that lies deep underneath...

Your embrace is enough to let me get through it all,
So, I dance knowing the things which are yet to unfold..
Your hands around my waist
As you lift me up,
And then I see the moon..
As clouds slowly give up...

We dance till the sun comes up again,
I let go of the fears knowing
the hands which will always be there to hold me up again..
Our love blooms in the fear,
and in the disdain,
Solacing the wounds forever, which my heart contained...
