Ye man kare bhaybheet,
Na meet ki dhun suhaye,
Na, aasha ka geet...
Hriday ka mere raag hai,
Jo ashrut ek raaz hai,
Panno ki kahaniyo mein,
Simta dekho aaj hai...
Ye man kare bhaybheet,
Na raha mere hriday ka geet,
Kinwaad ko dastak deta mera meet,
Preet ki dhun bachi na,
Na raha us aasha ka geet...
Haut pareshan dehleez par,
kahe mora piya :
"Tori atariya aau na fir me,
Sangeet mere gaau na fir me...
Haut jo teri laage lagan..!
Daud chala jaau..na hou fir magan"
Kyu? Akhir...
Ye man kare bhaybheet!
Shaam ki raagini, shunya hota ye geet...
Mere manas ka dagmagaye jo pahiya,
Kinwaad ki aur meri ghume nazariya...
"Khol du? Aaj me..?
Ashru kya bithaye jayenge sartaaj pe..?"
Kaise? Akhir...
Ye man kare bhaybheet!
Kaise keh du hriday ka mere ye geet? :
"Prem na hoye, preet na hoye,
Bas hai kisi dwesh ka geet,
Mud jaa piya, na aana aur kareeb!
Yahi hai hriday ka mere geet"
Aakhir...
Ye man kare bhaybheet...
Tose jo laagi lagan
Is meera ko na milenge
Uske meet...★✩★✩★✩★✩
There have been few words in the poem which you might have not understood so here I'm writing them and their meanings.
Maanas- Man (in hindi) or mind (in English)
Meet- It's a hindi word which is often used to refer to someone dear to you. Someone whom you love.
Ashrut- Something which is not heard.
Kinwaad- The door
Preet- love
Haut- It's a regional word of hota (in hindi)
Atariya- It's the terrace of a house
Raagini- Music
Dwesh - Hatred
I've always wanted to try writing in this regional language and this was my first time attempting it. This poem is my personal favourite out of all. I hope you all will love this too.
Thank you for reading!:)
