The energy and aura in the hall change drastically. Telling them that the ghost king, the heavenly prince, Wei Ying, and Lan Zhan did not come here to play, nor will they allow anyone in this room to slander them or harbor the illusion that they actually have any power or say as to how this day will end. Lan Xichen, Mingjue, and Wen Qing had by no join them standing at their backs. A strong display of power. The six did not even need to talk. The cultivators knew that their lives right now were in the hands of these people.
"How easily you pathetic insects think that you have the right or the power to insult my daughter and danxia as you see fit."
Hua Cheng spoke in that deep threatening voice but still held a lightness to it.
"How arrogant of you to think that I would allow or stand for it. You are still alive only because I deem it fit."
He continued before he turned his attention to Jin Zixun, who was still hanging in the air by rogue and black tendrils dancing around him and spoke.
"You speak so like you have the right and authority of someone who believes that he is untouchable. Let me ask you. Do you even know who your father is?. I mean your real father. The one who actually helped create you. I am waiting. Tell me."
He looked at the weasle who were trying his best to get himself out of his prison.
"My father name was Chen, and he was a Jin cultivator."
He managed to get out through gasps of breath. Hua Cheng laid his hand on Xie Lian's shoulder and said.
"Let him down both of you. You will have plenty of time to play with him again."
They both nodded and let him fall. When he hit the floor, he gasped for more breath. Scrambling to get to his seat, but were held in place instead. When he looked down, resentful energy was holding him in place. His head snapped up, and he opened his mouth to say something, but it was seal shut.
"Now, are you sure that he was really your father. Jin Guangshan, why don't you tell him the truth?."
Hua Cheng said, turning towards the said man who was just looking at said man. Everyone else was also waited with bated breath for the answer. The silence instead grew and grew as Jin Guangshan looked at the ghost king with arrogance.
"Nothing to say, I see. Let's see you dote more on your supposed nephew than your own son. He gets away with everything. His mother was your sister, right?."
Gasps of shock vibrated through the room, and even Jin Zixuan and Madame Jin looked at Jin Guangshan in shock. The only one not displaying such emotion on his face was Jin Guangyoa. Instead, he looked on with no emotion on his face.
"Answer the ghost king you virus walking on two legs. It's only by a god damn miracle that you haven't keeled over and die."
Madame Jin screamed at him, but he continued to keep quiet.
"Uncle, why would you not answer?."
Jin Zixun asked in a small voice.
"Because it's preposterous at what the ghost king is insinuating. I would never do such a despicable act with my own sister."
Laughter rang through the hall that made everyone look at the ghost king who had his head thrown back as he laughed. When Hua Cheng finally managed to stopped he put his one hand behind his back and looked once again at the Jin Guangshan.
"Story time."
He said, and Jin Guangshan face went a different kind of ash white.
"Your sister were a beauty. Wasn't she ?. Everyone wanted her hand in marriage, even the servant Chen, but you could not have that. Not when you when you were lusting after her already, so you declined every offer that came across your desk. Isn't that right, Jin Guangshan."
