Chapter 5

Since the Jiangs had arrived in the Unclean Realm things were just not the same. Demanding that the sects should helped them taking their sect back. Eventhough they were told that it was way to dangerous and that there isn't enough manpower to do it anyway. Which lead to them all being called cowards. To them it did not matter that the Cloud Recess were also taken and even though Lan Wanji and his brothers heart were burning to take the Cloud Recess back. They knew that it would be a suicide mission at best. So now in the camp the already tense atmosphere are being made unbearable by the Madame Yu and her son and the husband is doing not enough to make them see sense. At least their daughter are helping with the injured.

Lan Wanji and his brother Lan Xichen were taking a break from all the unnecessary stress and drama by enjoying a cup of tea in Lan Xichen's tent. Looking into his brothers face he noticed the small crease between his brows.
"Wanji is everything fine?". He asked which in turn earned him a confuse look from his brother.
"It seems that you have something on your mind". Lan Xichen elaborate. Lan Wanji looked down at his cup of tea before he spoke.
"Brother do you think Wei Ying are still alive out there?". Xichen thought about his answer for awhile before he spoke.
"Honesty I do not know Wanji. I would like to believe if he was. He would have joined by now. Don't you think so?". Wanji shakes his head slowly before he spoke.
"Not necessarily. Wei Ying would not want to be here. He would be out there helping the common people seeing to it that they are safe from this war". Lan Zhan said looking at his brother.
"I guess. I wish we could do more. We are losing ground rapidly and I fear we will loose this war. We just don't have the manpower". Xichen said as concern were shown on his face.
"We need a miracle if we want to win or we will all be at the mercy and under Wen Rouhan's thumb". Lan Zhan said.

"Atleast the Jin had join. Not as much as we would've liked but still". Xichen spoke.
"Brother I want to asked for permission to rejoin the fight with the other men". Lan Zhan asked hopefully. He can't just sit here and wait. He needs to do something anything.
"Wanji I do not know if it is a good idea. I know you are anxious but think about it". Xichen says.
"Brother whether I am here or in the field it does not make any difference. I can't just sit here and do nothing. I will join sect heir Jin and his team". Lan Wanji said as he looked at his brother. Xichen had no choice but to agree knowing his brother he would go even if he said no.
"Thank you brother". Wanji said and finished his tea. Xichen just nods his head. The two soon finished and walked out of the tent. Lan Wanji making his way towards the Jin tent and Xichen towards the war room to inform Mingjue that Wanji would be joining the Jin.

As Lan Wanji nears the Jin sect heirs tent screaming greets him.
"I will go with. I have every right to kill as many Wens or did you forget what they did to my sect". He heard the Jiang sect heirs voice.
Wanji sighs deeply. This is a time to work together but all they've been doing is screaming and demanding. If he should go with and mysteriously disappeared during one of these scoutings then nobody needs to know that he the Honorable Lan Wanji had any hand in it. He would even look mournful and regretful that he could not save him. Lan Wanji opened the flap to make is presence known. Luckily the Jin sect heir just looked up at that time.
"I am just here to inform sect heir that I will join you on from now on. I hope it will be fine". Lan Wanji said with a bow.
"We can need all the help we can get. Thank you second young master lan. This one appreciate it very much". Jin Zixuan said with a bow of himself.
"Why can he join and not me?". Jiang Wayin demanded to know.
Jin Zixuan sighs and said.
"I never said that you could not join us. You made your own assumptions as usual. Second Young Master Lan we will be leaving in half an hour". He said to Lan Wanji who gave him a small nod of the head before he turns on his heels want walked out.
"You can join if you want to but just know I would not tolerate your attitude any longer. If you do not follow my lead then do not blame me if you get hurt. Do you understand?". Jin Zixuan spoke.
"As if I would need your help or anyone's else's. I can look after myself". Jiang Wayin before storming out of the tent. Jin Zixuan really feel like stabbing him with his sword.
