Since their meeting, two months had passed. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian had to go back because they couldn't leave their duties unattended for very long but assured them that they would be back for this supposed hunt. Wei Ying, of course, was crying for her ge ges but rest in the assurance that she will see them soon. Jin Zixuan kept them updated on what's happening and they told him over and over to be careful because they didn't want anything to happen to him.

The invitation arrived just as Jin Zixuan informed them that it would. They are being invited to the Phoenix Hunt that will be held at Koi Tower. The morning they left, they took twelve disciples with them. They mounted their swords and flew towards the Jin sect. They arrived and met the Nie brothers at the bottom of the stairs because apparently it is rude just flying up there with your sword. They heard hurried footsteps behind them, and when they turned to see who it could be. Imagine their suprise when they saw Wen Qing coming hurriedly towards them. They all gave her a questioning look when she finally reached them.

"What? Do you think I will be sitting at home while you have all the fun. You must be surely mistaken."

She spoke as she gave them all a glare, which spoke of how disappointed she was that they did not even think of including her in this ass whooping. They nodded their heads when they heard two other voices.

"We agree with you, lady Wen, and we are very hurt that our own daughter did not even think of informing us. A-Ying, what do you have to say for yourself?".

Hua Cheng and Xie Lian spoke as they made their way towards the group of people who looked just as surprised to see them. They weren't expecting them to arrive today. They were honestly expecting the two gods to arrive at the opening ceremony of the hunt.

"Cheng-ge. Lian-ge, we didn't expect you to arrive today. We thought you would be here only tomorrow."

Wei Ying says as she hugged the two as soon as they came to a stop before them while the rest of the group bowed in greeting. Her hugged was returned tenfold. They let go of each other, and Hua Cheng looked her up and down very carefully a few times. Wei Ying looked down at her robes to see if there were any stains on it. She was dressed in the Lan whites and had a forehead ribbon on which she is sure is not crooked because Lan Zhan had put it on himself that morning.

Hua Cheng looked at his partner, and they both smiled, which not only confused Wei Ying but also the others.

"What? Is something wrong, Hua-ge. Why did you look me up and down and smile at Lian-ge."

Wei Ying asked as she looked at the two gods, and her eye caught Wen Qing, who also looked at her with her usual sharp gaze. She throws her hands up in the air and said.

"Lan Zhan, is there something wrong? Do I have any stains on my robes? Do I look fat, or do I have something on my face?".

Her eyes were sharp as she looked at her husband, who swallows hard before he answered. Feeling the pressure as everyone's attention turns to him.

"No, Wei Ying, there is nothing wrong that I can assure you. There are no stains on your robes. They are fine. Wei Ying have nothing on her face."

He answers as his wife's glare stayed on him he really does not want to answer the third question.

"So you think that I am getting fat right, Lan Wangji, that's why you did not answer me. Really after everything, and you can't even be honest with me. So much for. We should always be honest with each other."

She said with a hint of anger in her voice, and Lan Zhan stepped closer because not only him but the whole group heard her just using his courtesy name and he can't let his Wei Ying be angry at him.
