Early the next morning after breakfast everyone got ready to move out. Jin Zixuan and his disciples were riding with the Lan and Caihong which earned him a angry glare from Jiang Cheng and his mother. He did not care. They can't stare him to death anyway. Everyone at the signal of sect Leader Nie started to move. They rode through the gates and ready to take the fight to the Wen soldiers and Wen Rouhan. The atmosphere was tense and the younger disciples were scared. Understandably so. This is war where they don't know if they would return home to their families or not.

The first town they came across where not over run by Wen soldiers and corpses so they defeated them easily. Claiming the town back. Leaving the horses behind they move on foot. Sending out patrols to gather information so they could prepared themselves for an easy or hard fight. Most of their fights were easy claiming territories no matter how small. Leaving behind disciples to defend the one's they had already claimed. It was not easy claiming some of the smaller and bigger towns. And they had to fought hard and long to come out victorious. During these past months of fighting there was one thing they realised though. The fierce corpses were not that strong so far away from Qishan Wen and though easily defeated. The last town they managed to take back. They decided to sat up camp there. Also they made the decision to retrieved the sect heirs and disciples swords who were at the indoctrination. It was decided that Lan Zhan, Caihong and Jin Zixuan with some disciples will go which did not sit right with the Jiang and especially Jiang Cheng. Proclaiming that he will go with. To avoid any trouble they agreed. And if the three contemplated to just kill him and tell his family that he was unfortunately killed by a Wen soldier and there was nothing they could do because they themselves were fighting for their lives. In the end they let go of that idea.

Reaching the place were the swords were held. They fight their way through. Caihong got the suprise of her life. Because as we know she is not good at remembering things. While the fighting went on a Wen soldier came sneaking from behind to attack her. The wraith butterflies sensing the danger from behind flew out and attacked the soldier killing him. Fighting with them it became easier for them to defeat the soldiers there. The three and the disciples made their way towards the doors after all the Wen soldiers were killed and the butterflies had returned. It did not took them long to find their swords and that of the others. They made their way back towards their temporary camp site. Lan Zhan was happy to have bichen back in his hands. Jin Zixuan felt the same about his sword. When they arrived back Lan Zhan and Jin Zixuan took out all the swords from the quakin bags and placed it on the ground so that the disciples could take theirs.
Many were happy having their spiritual swords but with it also came sadness as many of the swords owners had already pass away.

The four made their way towards the war room. To report back. Glad to have them safe and sound the discussions continued after in forming them of what had already been talked about.
"Xichen any word from your inside man?". Mingjue asked.
"I received correspondence from him. He told me that Wen Rouhan are starting to harvest the resentful energy in the sword. He is becoming more powerful by the day. He also pulled his sons back. They are now safely in the nightless city". Xichen told them

" If he is doing that. It is dangers so he must have someone helping him to regulate the resentful energy. Someone who would be able to curb the effect of the resentful energy. Like maybe someone plays for him or a healer. A very good and skilled one". Caihong said looking around the table.

"He got a niece if I'm correct. She is very talented. One of the best healers of our time. Well that's what I have heard. I don't know if it actually true". Huaisang said and fans himself as the others looked at him.

"I see. I was really looking forward to kill that Wen Xu but that has to wait until we reached nightless city it seems". Mingjue said. Before they could continue on how to precede any futher. Discussing strategies on how to take the all powerful Wen Rouhan down. Madame Yu spoke.
