Now we are making our way to General Sorrengail's office. I am surveying every corner as everyone keeps talking. As we reach the fork between the archives and the fortress I stop.
"There's no going back from here."
Violet says as she looks upward.
"Lead on!"
Quinn barks.
"Shh... some of us can get caught you know."
Imogen whispers.
"Right sorry."
Quinn replies. I shake my head.
"Everyone remember the plan. No one deviates, no one."
Violet adds. We all nod our heads as we begin the climb upward. I tune everyone out and keep my eyes directly forward. Eventually we reach the final stair and the hallway. Liam gives Violet the description we all hoped for. Quinn prepares for her part of the plan and Violet asks if everyone remembers their part of the plan. We all nod and lower down the steps a bit as to not be seen by the guard.
Quinn charges up the stairs, and the guard begins to chase her Astro form away from the hall. Imogen orders us to go now and we all rush to our positions. Sawyer and Nadine get the door and wards open quickly. We file into the office and i light a ball in my hands. This is to avoid touching the mage lights.
As Ridoc mentions how nice the office is, and plops down on the couch, Sawyer mentions that we don't have time for his shenanigans. Imogen and Nadine take the table. Sawyer and Ridoc take the bookcase. Me and Violet add to the desk. The letters in the middle of the desk is where Violet starts. I pull open an unlocked drawer.
I open the first group of papers, and I bite my tongue as I see the loss count of outposts. I shove this back in the drawer. Imogen mentions that what they found is all numbers. Violet mentions that this time of year she's working on budgets. They all turn to look at Violet like she has three heads. As she begins to defend herself I look up to the map on the wall and step away from the desk.
Violet looks to me and then the map. I can tell it hasn't clicked in her mind yet. I wait and continue to hold up the glowing beam of light. Then I see it click in her head and I just smile.
"Hey second squad, I know what we need to steal."
At Violet's word I turn lift the light to the air. I begin to help Ridoc and Sawyer pull the map from its hanging position. Me and Imogen tie it up with leather ties. Liam's whistle makes me tense. As if Liam's words reach my ears I walk out into the hall and the guard kicks open the door. Before anyone can protest I reach my arms out and blind the guard temporarily with light and Rhiannon pulls the map into her arms down the hall. Emery apologizes and slams a large gust of wind into the guard. He is thrown against the wall and we all run!
We put the guard in a room quickly. Violet checks for a pulse and we open his mouth. She dumps a tonic in his mouth.
"He'll sleep the rest of the night."
Liam's eyes are shocked as he meets Violet's.
"You're kind of terrifying."
"Thank you."
Violet adds. I roll my eyes and begin to shove everyone out with walls of light. We all run as fast as we can. 15 minutes later we skid into the battle brief room. We are the last to arrive and I smirk as I see Bodhi chuckling at me from across the room. We all sit down and thank the gods we're going in squad order. I lower my hands onto the desk and take in a deep breath.
The poor scribe who was stolen out of bed makes me chuckle. When it's our turn Sawyer and Liam hold the top corners of the map so it can be seen vividly. I add little beams of light for emphasis.
"Nice touch."
Liam jokes and I smirk as I watch Violet take the lead.
"We have brought the ultimate weapon to our enemies. An up to date map of all current outposts of Navarian wings to include troop strength of infantry battlements. As well as the location of all current squirmishes in the last thirty days, including last night."
The light rumble of the crowd around us makes me chuckle.
"And how do we know this map is in fact current?"
Professor Kaori asks. Violet's smirk causes me to smile too.
"Because we stole it from General Sorrengail's office."
The mayhem that ensues leads me to laugh. The professors run at us and I draw back all the lights around the map.
'If one of them even thinks about touching you, I will kill them.'
Rebel's voice makes me chuckle.
'I think I'll kill every single one of them before they could even lay a finger on me.'
His chuff makes my grin grow deeper. I step aside and find a desk. I sit down and prop my feet up.
'And that is why I chose you Highbrooke. Now celebrate the win little one.'
I turn and make direct eye contact with Bodhi. I wink as he shakes his head with a smile. I mouth to him 'my room when this is over.' He nods and I chuckle.
After the vote:
I hear the knock on my door and smirk. I drop my hair from the bun I had it in. I just got out of the bathing room and hold my towel tight to my chest. I open the door and Bodhi's eyes go from interested to hungry in seconds. He pushes in my room and shuts the door quickly.
"Since me and my squad won the challenge, I think I earned the right to pick my poison tonight."
I drop the towel and his eyes glide over my body before meeting my gaze again. I slowly slip the flight jacket from his shoulders.
"First I want you to kiss every inch of me until I'm begging you for more."
I lay a kiss on his neck and grip the bottom of his shirt. I pull back and tug it off quickly.
"Second, I want you to bend me over that bed and fuck every little thought right out of my head."
I trace my hand down his rock hard abs slowly and gently kiss his collar bone. I grip the top of his pants and undo them effortlessly.
"Then I want you to do whatever you want to me."
I drop his pants down to his boots. I lick up his length and almost come undone with the groan that escapes him. He steps back a bit and kicks off his boots and exits the pants at his ankles. He grips me and begins showering my body with kisses just like I ask. His grip is forceful as he lifts me up and takes me to my bed. He bends me over the edge and lowers to where his face meets my center. He sucks my clit into his mouth and I gasp. He releases and begins to fuck me with his tongue.
"That was definitely not a part of the plan."
His chuckle vibrates my core and I grip the sheets. A deep thrust into me sets my whole body aflame.
"Don't worry, I was just adding an extra step."
I chuckle and gasp as he pulls out and thrusts back in again.
