I MARCHED TO THE TERRACE, MY NOSTRILS flaring as I watched my supposed husband and Prachi watering the grown plants together.

She would nudge him while he watered and he would smile at her. After my 4th shout at them and their continuous ignoring, I lost it.

Naani was somehow right. Why did I have to utter that shit when she asked me if I'm bothered by Ahaan spending time with another woman? Of course, the soul of an angel out of nowhere possessed me that day.

Perhaps I should've listened to her. Ahaan was my supposed husband & I can't sit and watch him getting cozy with another woman. That meant my non-existing Marriage would crumble, right?

Yeah. That's it. Only it. Not that I care but I had to do this. What will Naani think of them? And me? I can't let that happen.

I should've listened to Naani when she asked me to water the plants the first day. Ahaan was eager to do that more than me, so I gladly gave up. I didn't know it would come back to bite me like that.

Turning the tap on, hot water poured out filling the bucket. It wasn't too hot to leave a burn, it was just hot. I dragged the bucket to the railing and glared down at them. I eyed the second woman in our relationship venomously. I will not let her break my non-existent home. Witch, watch and see.

The hot water in a bucket poured down at them from the terrace, as I emptied it. Their shrieks felt satisfying, and I realized I'd missed doing this crazy shit. Shit! How long has it been since I did something like this?

Watching them sneakily, I grinned as both of them were now soaked. They looked up wildly, but I was hidden. Smiling at them one last time, I whirled around and ran towards my room. Shutting the door behind me, I panted heavily, giggling while remembering the look on their faces.

After a second, I opened the door and ran towards the verandah where they stood under the strict gaze of Naani.

I suddenly paled. Shit. I forgot about her. She turned to me and I immediately changed my expression.

"What happened? I heard some screams-Oh my god! Ahaan! Prachi dear? What happened to you? How did you get soaked?" The three of them eye me with three different emotions.

Naani raised her eyebrows, eyeing me skeptically. Prachi was thoroughly irritated. Good for her. And Ahaan stared at me with an emotion I could recognize. That made me tense.

"Where were you?" Naani demanded. Inside I was shivering. Outside I was clueless.

"I was in my room, reading" I answered innocently. She eyed me from top to bottom, in a slow manner. And then, she looked amused. What?

"Okay" Hiding her amusement, she turned to them.

"You two? Go and change! Before you catch a cold!" Both of them nodded. Ahaan walked past me, his eyes never leaving me. I saw him narrowing his eyes.

Something told me I was in for some trouble. Deciding to avoid him, I followed Naani into her room. "What are you doing here?"

"Um... I... Wanted to massage your legs" I blurted the first thing that came to my mind. I mean, it was on my mind for a while and I realized her feet had been swollen from standing for a long and cooking for the past week for Prachi.

"No need" She brushed me off & rested on her armchair. Her expression was guarded. As if she was cautious of me. She confused me so much. As if she was afraid something would happen if she let herself loose.
