Rowan walked through the Ketterdam, her face hidden with her hood. It was like her footsteps echoed through the streets before she entered the Crow club, taking her rightful place by the table and removing the hood, noticing Jesper come by later.
"Shouldn't you be at the door?"the Ravkan girl questioned the Zemeni boy who only smirked at her. "You would snitch on me?" Jesper replied and Rowan rolled her eyes with no annoyance behind. The girl considered Jesper, Inej, and Kaz her little twisted family. They were the only people who weren't scared to death of her and she learned to like them over time.
They will leave, just like everyone else.
"Hey, you take Zemeni coins, yes?" a gambler asked the girl who nodded shortly, firmly. The man threw a pouch of money at her and Rowan took one coin out, inspecting it. It seemed off to her. "Jes, I think I have counterfeit,"she muttered lowly, barely audible. "Let me see that," Jesper spoke, and she threw the coin at him, the Zemeni boy catching it without any problem.
