Scott pushed the door open and looked at the man who had long hair and was facing away from the door, focused on his work. He slipped into the studio without making a sound and then leaned down, sliding his hands down the man's shoulders towards his chest.

"Damn Daddy, you look hot." He purred with a smile.

"If Olivia hears you saying that and you get me in trouble, I'll send you to Cali with your ass hurting and it won't be in a good way." The deep voice responded with a hint of a smile. "For the record... you calling me daddy now is a little creepy."

"Well, you're a daddy now." Scott let out a laugh and straightened up, leaving room for Avi to get up and hug him. "I missed you."

Avi wrapped Scott tightly and felt the man relax as if a weight was being lifted from him.

"Esther made me aware of everything that was going on in Arlington, so I was ready to jump on a plane to be there for you," Avi murmured and felt Scott take a deep breath. "I'm proud of you Scotty... I'm so proud of you."

Scott straightened up and gave a tired smile, he ran a hand through his short hair and shrugged. Avi tilted his head and examined him carefully.

"Whiskey?"

"Do you have Jack Honey?" Scott asked in a low voice.

"You know I always have Jack Honey for you." Avi indicated the chair next to his and went to the minibar in the corner.

"What are you working on?" Scott asked looking at the computer screen.

"My new single," Avi responded by pouring a generous dose for Scott.

The blonde didn't respond, he continued looking at the screen without really seeing what was there, he heard the chair move and forced himself to go back. He smiled looking at Avi, accepted the glass, and sipped the golden liquid.

"What? Drink without toasting?" Avi raised his eyebrows. "I wanted to toast the charts... very good, Scotty."

Scott nodded and took another small sip. Avi smiled and took a bigger drink. They fell silent and looked at the screen.

"He is cute." Avi took a sip of the whiskey.

Scott closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"How do you know?"

"I saw the picture." Avi furrowed his eyebrows, examining the glass.

Scott rested the glass against his forehead and sighed.

"How do you know it's him?"

Avi continued examining the glass with furrowed eyebrows.

"Give me some fucking credit here. I know you and I know your smiles, you were smiling in a way I had never seen." Avi slowly swirled the glass. "It was like you were finally home. Calm, gentle, happy..."

"And what exactly does happiness mean?" Scott asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm not playing that game again..." Avi grumbled and heard Scott laugh as he took a sip. "He's cute and I like his beard."

Scott laughed softer this time.

"Of course you liked the beard." Scott shook his head. "I'm fucked, Avi."

"Nah... you're at the top of the charts." Avi joked before looking at Scott and his smile softened. "Am I finally going to hear about this man you've been completely in love with for so long?"

"I'm not in love," Scott grumbled irritably.

Avi raised his eyebrows before singing in a deep voice "Sometimes I get a little bit jaded..." he saw Scott close his eyes, and continued the song with a smile. "Too much pressure just to make it... you smile when I'm angry and I hate it..." he raised his eyebrows when he received a grumpy look. "But I'll still love you for the rest of my life... I love September, I hope you use it as a single at some point."
