"I really like
What I feel when I'm with you
You're a dream come true
Don't you ever leave my side
'Cause it feels so right"
So Into You // Tamia

Four years have passed since the death of Valentina and Dallas, and today marks the day of our annual family dinner, a tradition the family has faithfully observed for the past three years. We wanted to make sure that no matter what point we were at in life we were there for one another. And it seemed as though this day no matter what brought us together. "Hey baby, how's it coming?" Jaxon says entering the kitchen, it was spacious and inviting, adorned with a blend of modern and rustic elements. The countertops are sleek granite, providing ample space for our dinner preparations. Stainless steel appliances, including a state-of-the-art oven and a large refrigerator, added to the kitchen's sleek look. The cabinets are a warm, natural wood, complementing the neutral tones of the walls. Hanging pendant lights with soft, warm hues illuminate the room. A large window above the sink allows natural light to flood in during the day, offering a view of the tree-lined streets outside.
Jaxon and I recently moved into our new house together in Brooklyn, New York it wasn't ridiculously far from Ricardo's home he still had.
"It's going well." I say as he ducks his head in the cranny of my neck. I turned to look into his eyes, his story blue eyes latched onto mine, and his lips placed a gentle kiss onto mine.
"It smells good." The aroma of the marinated chicken cooking in the oven filled the kitchen. I decided to go with lemon pepper, barbeque, and garlic parmesan wings. I first pan-seared them and then I placed them in the oven after tossing them in their sauces.
I nodded, "You smell good."
"Don't start." He says backing up, "Did you need help with anything?"
"Can you cut the fruit up?" We had a lot of fruit we were going to put on a platter. He nodded heading over to a cabinet and beginning to chop the fruits. These were the last things we had to do to be ready for the dinner tonight.
"Baby." He chimed.
"Yes?" I asked focused on what was in front of me.
He says as the knife continues to slice, "Remember before the triplets were born, when Ricardo was in the hospital and you told me that you hoped I found a better place for me because I was going to leave Brooklyn."
