April had sat at her phone for the last half hour scrolling tiktok, or in actuality watching the same edit of wanda maximoff over and over until she finally tired from the audio. she flicked through the apps on her phone, but nothing seemed to quell that boredom in her.
she wanted to go downstairs and grab something to eat, but her brother - charlie - had warned her that their uncle tony was over with his hoard of children and so april decided against it. meaning, she flopped down onto her pink bedcovers, her head hitting against the soft pillow underneath her.
there were messages she could reply to, but mostly they were the same "hey, hru?" from her friends trying to keep in touch over the short break. april intended to not reply and pretend next week when she saw them again she would make up some pathetic lie that they'd buy.
it wasn't ideal, nor ethical but the brunette was far too lazy to bother at the moment. and yet she craved entertainment, ironic much?
april flicked over to snapchat, fondly remembering a time a year ago when she wasn't busy and would add the randoms that popped up in her 'quick-add' for fun. out of that she had made one online friend who she talked to once a month and had gotten a pedophile arrested.
she preferred the first achievement, the second made her sound small and weak against the man whom of which was obviously a small, pathetic weakling wanting to date a teenage girl as he couldn't get anyone his own age to love him.
she flicked onto the 'quick-add' section and looked through the names. none of which caught her eye, until she got to the bottom;

april clicked on 'add' and then put her phone down next to her, not expecting the girl to add her back. based on the bitmoji, she was probably about the same age as the brunette and the user suggested it was an account to speak to only close friends.
